I watched the preview yesterday, and it indeed looked great! It also seems there will be way more customization options than before.

 

Think honestly I'm going to have to give up on playing csgo. The ranking system makes no sense. Past week or so was top in nearly all of my games even the bad ones I still came in the top 3. But no I don't go up in rank, I get deranked. I want my gold ak title back dammit.

 

I don't know exactly how it works, but some things I know to be true:
1. Ranking is based on what is basically an invisible points system.
2. You always earn points when you win, even as the lowest ranked on the team (i.e. bottom ranking of winning side.)
3. You always lose points on a loss. You lose less if you rank high on your team (i.e. top ranking on losing side.)
4. How many points you actually get is also determined by the ranks of your opponents. The higher their rank, the more points you earn for winning, and the less you lose for losing. The reverse is also true. Lower ranks beating you causes a greater loss, and lower gain.

So if you are fighting equally matched opponents (rarely happens) you need to win at least more than 50% of your games. Easier said than done. Especially with low-rank smurfs mucking up the score.

In the end I would just play to win, but play for fun. Play the best you can, individually, and try to coordinate with the teammates you can. Ranking up is really best done with friends for that reason.

 

@Wolfcat Russians do not listen to reason in csgo.

I have to play with them cause csgo doesn't have a competitive filter option for me to go to American servers.

Oh god it would be so nice to hear a full game in proper English than broken English. I think I have learnt more swear words in a foreign language, heard noob, and kick me more than I care to count.

 

The fact that there's a lot of hackers doesn't make ranking up easier as well.
But I can agree on the foreigners, it seems Russians only know the immortal phrases like "blyat cyka idi nahui" "noob" "OMEGJE NUB TIM" "KIK MI PLIS" "OMAGAAAAAAAAAAAD" and so on. It makes playing the game way less pleasurable than it should be...
...Though on the other hand, trolling those Russians gets more and more pleasurable the dumber and more irritating they get >

 

I love how in CS:GO, the Russians are collectively "That guy"

I don't even play FPS games and I'm aware of this, it's so widely agreed upon.

Decided to give Undertale a try... Damn, this game is heavy. Emotionally, I mean. And the way it breaks 4th wall is also awesome and adds to the experience as well.

 

Might as well retire from CSGO seeing as no matter on how well I play it keeps down ranking me. I am now a nova 2 dammit!

 

Man BD and the furry community in general has really fucked me up XD I mean really, I'm sitting here watching gameplay of Evolve and reading the wiki's and every time I see a monster/beast that's supposed to be fear inducing, all I can think about is what its dick would look like. Thanks, just....thanks. I mean look at these things

 

I think my crested drake design would look awesome for the dick of the bottom creature.

 

I just got back into Warframe after about a year. Holy fuck, I forgot how complicated that game is, and now there's even more. x_x
I was like "Holy shit, we have ships now?". It's also taken me almost all night to just about get the hang of the new UI. And the cinematic cutscenes...HNNG...so good...

 

So The Secret World just released Issue #13 a few days ago, to finish off Season 1. I finished the missions. Not touching the PvP (this was a PvP update). Have yet to use the new gifting option, but maybe one day. Season 2 will dive back into the personal horror in remote locations, as opposed to an entire city in definite screwed over mode, like Tokyo. Looking forward to it. Three years in, and looking forward to more years.

I'm really enjoying Ark, now that I have time to play it.

 

fucking Chivalry... why did I waste $5 on this shit...

 

Still enjoying Ark, however I've run into a major problem. I can no longer enter caves.

The game crashes shortly after I enter. And exploring caves are vital to "beating" the game.

 

Sounds like somebody is complaining the game is too hard! Being able to actually play the game is for wimps!
