It was relatively difficult for me to really get out of bed this morning.
Not sure why, I was just feel very tired.

Was going out with people to Busch Gardens on Sunday, that changed to Friday. Also working that Doctor Who singles night Saturday. I'll need to figure out how to keep myself entertained.

 

I'm surprised how many people are arguing whether or not Deadpool is pansexual. Like really? Read the comics.

 

I'm on my weeklong vacation. Driving out to a con tomorrow. Packing today. Woo!

 

Probably because a lot of them haven't read the comics.
tends to happen when a movie is released, everyone is suddenly an expert haha.
I haven't read the comics (yet) but I was told by my partner that Deadpool is romantically in love with Death and that's why Thanos made sure he can never actually die. Or something like that.

Because a lot of people would like to think his non hetro behavior is him being goofy for the sake of comedy.

I believe that if you have that many voices in your head your sexuallity is the least of your problems.

 

I'm not at all surprised at the lack of anger at the change of Blind Al from a white woman to a black woman. What I am surprised about is that feminists/SJW's aren't surprised by it or claiming it's some sort of victory.

Negative opinion: I don't care for Deadpool. I get what he's suppose to be, but theres just something about him that just turns me off.

Anyway. This is may be completely false, but I either heard or read somewhere that pansexuality meant an attraction to both genders, the spectrum between male and female, and other things like bestiality and possibly necrophilia. Now I'm not stating this as fact, I just remember reading that somewhere. Could be hearsay, or just someone with a bias against pansexuality.

On a different and hopefully more talked about subject if someone decides to read my post. I'm putting together a certain Achievement Hunter costume for this weekend. Its costume night at that Doctor Who singles night thing I mentioned.

I actually share a complete lack of interest in Deadpool. I'm not really a fan of super heros in the first place and he seems sort of tacky to me.

On Pansexuality, a bit of research has turned up with the most common definition being along the lines of "Sexual preference that is indifferent to biological sex, gender or identity." A decent, though somewhat pretentious sounding way someone put it was "liking someone for who they are rather than what they are".
A few other, less thought of definitions do come up though. The word apparently was initially used to denote a belief that all human behaviours are influenced by/rooted in sexual instincts. Another one that comes up is along the lines of "belief that all consensual sexual activities are ethical".
It does seem that there is somewhat of a misconception that pansexuality includes such things as bestiality/necrophilia though, as it is often clarified in definitions that it does not include them, but rather only to consensual adult sexual behaviour.
