Scalie is grump. I managed to finish another project but got a pretty bad burn from a piece of orange hot metal burning right through my glove. barely touched it with my finger, but it still stuck and I had to pull it away. definitely gonna leave a mark

 

Just spent an hour working on a project. A guy moved but didn't have his old rented cable boxes moved to his new account. As usual all it took was one word from somebody to create a huge problem for me. The guy who installed the stuff at the new place said "oh just hold onto the old cable boxes in case you want them later." That was a huge amount of work to fulfill that promise. I had him on hold so long I just called him back when I sorted it out. This is pretty much daily, somebody makes a promise without knowing if it's feasible, and I spend an hour trying to balance out something that should have been sorted out in February....

 

SO. I just bought several bottles of Rammune, mochi, Pocky, and some ramen noodles off of a japanese grocer.

Fuck me, the bullets I've dodged over the past couple days.

Last night there was a fatal motorcycle accident a couple blocks from my house that I heard happen. Found out it was two motorcycles racing, and one crashed into a minivan. Then today, not even half an hour from the time of this post, on my way home from golfing with family there was a multi car crash a couple lanes next to me. I need to give my guardian angel a raise or something.
