Finally caved and put in some PTO at work, deciding to take the weekend off to hang out with my close friends.
Hopefully all goes well, cause 5 days off is an awesome prospect.

 

So it appears that I finally have my ticket to get the hell out of this state.
Got plans on moving to Las Vegas probably sometime either at the end of this month or the end of August.~ So @Willow and @Eloe Elwe *wink wink* ;3

 

Good on you. My bf had the apartment he was supposed to move into given to someone else, but put in an application for a better place that is cheaper than the other. Went with him to.check it out, and for the size and the big.dent next to the closet, it's nice overall for the $380/month.

I won't be moving in anytime soon (we've only dated three mm onths after all), but I'd be ok with a place like that.

 

Ok, I'll get the whips and chains ready.

So not fair! Damn Canadians! I miss Crystal Pepsi. It was sold in Maryland back when I was a kid. But I haven't seen it since.

 

Chili Limon Cheetos. Appeared in the summer of...'08? '09? Stuff was the shit, but after that I (a teen with minimal internet access) couldn't find em anymore, apparently they "were only popular enough in small local areas". Word is according to some that I can find em in Orange County, but Cali's a long ways from Texas for me.

 

I think i've seen these in my neck of the woods. I believe Aldi the grocerry chain that's in the Midwest had a version of them as well. Might take a look for them this weekend.

Possibly. I mean crime is everywhere, but some places are less dangerous than others. As long you have your wits about you, you should be fine.

 

I can't believe what happened in France. What a nightmare.

Reading a news article, I also can't believe the sentence structure here:

"...an attack described as terrorism by French President Francois Hollande killed up to 80 people."

I mean that sentence literally says Hollande killed 80 people.

 

Past couple of days have been kinda shitty, hoping things will get better.
