A work buddy was telling me about a big project. He said "It's my Mea Culpa." I replied "That means 'my mistake'." He looked at me tiredly and said, "Good enough."

 

So I had to put in a work order to have the maintenance people fix the light fixture in my bathroom. Apparently it decided that today was the day to practically fall out of the ceiling. I think it all it needs is some dry wall screws to anchor it into the ceiling, but I'm gonna have the maintenance people do it cause that's what they're paid for.

Ugh, I also need to go vote....I'm just so tired.

 

Off to the city for a kinky event weekend full of fun and laughs~! I'll get to see some friends that I've been talking to on Telegram most recently as well as make some new ones as well.

 

Got a new job lined up through a hiring agency. The folks there were super nice and looked professional. I was glad I dressed nice as well, otherwise I'd feel awkward!

I made sure to tell them I self taught myself in digital art/design so hopefully they'll keep an eye out on positions where I can improve my skills.

 

Well, I'm currently in an interesting involving a close friend of mine. She's possibly dealing with a break up with her boyfriend and I'm consulting her as best as I can. However she's told me that if the break up happens that she will possibly move out to be with me.
I'm not sure whether or not to take it seriously.

I mean don't get me wrong, I've had feelings for this girl for a while and we have had our encounters, it's just I'm really not sure how to feel about her making such a big move just for me. I don't want her to make decisions that she'll regret on account of me.

I just don't know how to go about this situation, other than to assume that something like that won't happen.

That is a pickle. She might not be able to afford a place on her own and would much rather move in with someone she knows. As for the break up, I feel its best for freshly single people to stay single for a while before jumping right into something new. I can't give a solid reason why exactly, its like we're all adults and everything but asking for a relationship during post-break up feelings is like a drunk person asking you for sex, ya just don't trust their judgment until they've sobered up ya dig?

 

That's what I'm thinking. Also if she were to move her she'd have to find a job to help with the bills, though I could get her a job at my work place, however I really wouldn't want to subject her to that.

I kept smelling burning plastic in the house and finally tracked it down to a lamp. the CFL bulb was starting to burn the plastic base and it was starting to offgas some of the mercury vapor. good thing I caught it when I did or it probably would've started a fire

Just returned from my Texas trip to see my boyfriend. That was the best week of my life and I can't get out of Winnipeg soon enough.
