There are so many more bands that I like, but it would take forever to list everyone. So, those are just my tops for the categories I listed. Generally, I don't listen to much outside of that. Except for Enigma, but that's for calming relaxing type of music. Oomph! Is fantastic! I really like Labyrinth, it's one of my favourite song of theirs.

 

Aaaah Stromae~! French hip hop is one of my favorite genres, actually. That, and showtunes.
But I'm going to be an ESL teacher, so I like to try and understand as much of other cultures as I can so I can relate to the kids and hopefully not squash their roots. As such, I'm also big on Japanese and Spanish or Mexican rap and German rock (although not huge on metal myself).

 

Awesome! I am a huge lover of foreign music! Whether it be rock, metal, jazz, hip hop, experimental, electronica, you name it, I most likely well like it. Everything except for rap. That's one of my least favourite along with country. Not to be confused with folk songs. Those are fine. Just the twangyness of the guitar is just irritating to me.

 

Yeah, I get that. My dad seperates them as "new" and "old" country. The fake southern accents drive him nuts.

If you want to let your inner emotional emo out you can always listen to Hawthorne Heights And Emarosa ( some of my favorite bands ). I listen to a lot of different bands. Some I only like one or two of their songs. As well I can really dig what Haze and Robert are into haha

I'm basically into anything that isn't country, or pop. Lol

 

Rise against is one of my all time favorites. I went and saw them in concert with Letlive and Killswitch Engage

 

Holy shit, I actually forgot about Killswitch! .44 caliber love letter is one of my favorite songs!

 

Louisville KY has a hard rock festival every year called, Louder than Life.
It's 3 days of hard rock, bourbon, and bar food. All I'm missing is an orgy and I found paradise.
