Hell, I'd go. And I'm sure you could find one if enough bourbon is involved! Haha

i’ve been super into placebo lately. i really enjoy brian molko’s voice for some reason.

my current favorite bands would probably be the sisters of mercy, the cure, placebo, nightwish, atreyu, depeche mode, marilyn manson, enigma, mindless self indulgence, the birthday massacre, and nine inch nails.

Holy shit some wicked stuff in these lists.
I recognize a fair few of these bands/ artists but I'm still on my own path of discovery and I only recently started properly listening to music in the last 2 years or so.

A few of my favorites though are

    System of a Down
Dog Fashion Disco (Funny as fuck. Unique sound)
Bloodhound Gang (Listened to all their albums multiple times and I'm currently learning the lyrics to Bad Touch so I can bust it out at parties)
Legend (Only two albums, but I adore these guys)
    Ghost
Kanga (This chick is KICK. ASS)
    Perturbator
KMFDM (Need to listen to more of their stuff but I know without a doubt I will love them)
    Dance with the Dead

I've listened to alot of different artists, but not alot of entire albums or collections, but I also really dig stuff from Daft Punk, Tenek, Royksopp (Need to find more. NEED), Depeche mode, Priest (I feel funny mentioning these guys along side Ghost), Faderhead, Tool, The Prodigy, City and Colour (Bit of the odd one out), Rammstein, Gary Numan, Hands like Houses, Diorama, Alice in Videoland, King Dude (This guy is worth checking out. He sounds oddly country but his stuff is quite dark. Really unique from what I've heard so far), NIN, Seabound.
Holy shit the list goes on. The more I listen to music, the more I realize that there is SO MUCH to discover.

But I'll leave you guys with a few things.

Firstly, this is a music show I listen to online regularly, they are amazing and play some pretty awesome stuff. This is if you like stuff like Industrial, EBM, Synth, Synthpop, Dark wave etc .
They have been at it for over 10 years now, and they are endlessly passionate about their stuff. I love when I get to spread the word about these guys. For those who did mention Depeche mode, this may just be up your alley, who knows.

This site is beyond amazing. It has EVERY genre listed and when you click on it, it plays a preview of what music in that genre may sound like. It also lists the band and song name of the song playing in the preview and if you dig it you can click on it again and it lists a whole lot of popular bands in that genre. You could spend hours on this site if you wanted to.

A song I heard on CAD as mentioned above, its really somber but the video crushes me. I really like this song even if its not exactly happy.
I often have feelings of isolation and feeling like I'm in another world, so music like this oddly.. comforts me?

Here's the song that first got me hooked on Legend, who are pretty small timers.
