So now that we have this super nifty image insertion feature, we can create our own little emotes to make this place shine or collect our favorites from the far flung reaches of the interwebz.

View attachment 790 I attempted to do a pixel version of my frog avatar. It probably shows better on the light colored style than the dark style.

If anyone has a Damn Average frog or any frog idea in general I'd be willing to attempt making one or two for a few people.

Can you tell my favorite types of frogs are all rain frogs?

 

All froggies based off real-world (non-silicone) frogs are free to use in posts. Froggies based off silicone frogs are subject to the silicone frog owner's terms.

I'm going to work on some brighter frogs that will show up better on the dark style version of the forum because these guys are kinda hard to see.

 

Here's another frog that's free to use on the forum. It's an Infinity Star frog!

I've never made a custom emote, how does one go about that? Special program or website?

 

Just crack open any program that lets you draw and allows for transparent backgrounds
Draw the thing (50x50 or less)
Save it as a png or gif
Plop it up here and I add it to the library

 

Photoshop or GIMP work really well for this. I use GIMP for all my art stuff including tiny frogs.
