Hey all, I can't for the life of me remember the differences between each of these firmness' (firm-split, wide-split, and soft-split). So any explanation as to what each one is that would be awesome.

    Firm-split: 5/medium shaft, 8/firm base
    Soft-split: 3 shaft, 8 base
    Wide-split: 3 shaft, 5 base

I believe they stopped offering wide-split on made-to-order toys. c:

To make it easier to remember which split is which, I think of it like this:
"Firm" means the two firmnesses that are the most firm.
"Soft" means the two firmnesses that are the most soft.
"Wide" means the two firmnesses that have the widest gap between their firmness numbers.
And the softer firmness is always in the shaft unless it's a Reverse split.

You would think it would be easier for BD to just use the fractions (( 3/8, 5/8, 3/5)) as shorthand instead of making up weird names for them.

Oh I guess I was confused too! 9u6;; It would be much easier if they were numbers. I think they completely did away with the numbers though?

    yeah they did
My best guess for why was so that they could have more inconsistencies with the firmnesses.
