Seriously though. They must drop 1,500+ toys a week into inventory not including customs. Minimum they're getting 50 bucks but most are way more $ and they always sell out.
I just started hunting for toys a couple weeks ago and I never thought they released that many (Friday Friday drops are like 1000+). All the good ones are sold out in minutes. Like where do these toys all go? Resellers?

I mean dang. I never would have guessed that a sex toy maker would do such crazy good business lol. Though I will say, of all my toys the BD Chance (and I'm sure my coming Austin) is my favorite. Of course they cost like 4 times more than any other toy I've bought not named hismith... lol

They got super popular in the last couple years, maybe because of the exposure they've gotten from having toys show up in porn (porn of all types - amateur, pro, straight, gay, trans, fetish/kink). Then for the past year, a lot of people were forced to stay at home because of the coronavirus, with no way to meet and date new people in real life. I bet most of the toy companies have seen an increase in demand over the past year. But BD has really high visibility now because of porn, and their popularity seems to be through the roof.

I remember when there would be literally thousands of pre-made BD toys sitting in stock, just a few years ago. You could browse the inventory and think about maybe making a possible purchase, over the course of days and weeks sometimes, with very little pressure to buy immediately or risk losing the toy to another buyer, like we have now.

Yea I guess I never looked due to price. I've been following BD for years but never really considered because most premade are well over a hundred bucks. Would be nice to have time to think about stuff, you're right though. Now you have to add a couple to cart and keep refreshing and do it every 5 minutes while you think it over. I had a nox XL in my cart that I missed out on, I'm just glad I got my Austin back but I did end up ordering a David that I had them cancel since as soon as I hit buy the Austin popped back up. Seems the only toys (flops) that stick around are the huge huge ones like the Stan XL (imagine you need to be a master for that one) or Rex (probably due to sheer quantity).

But when I was thinking about that it just bowled me over. Clearing like 100k+ in inventory in one day. I have no idea how much it costs to make these since they have the molds already but... and unlike other brands they even sell the defects and people happily buy them lol.

I've had terrible luck with inventory drops now. Everything sells out so fast (and they hardly ever drop toys with the exact specs I like, to begin with). I've realized that custom orders are the only way I'm going to be able to buy anything new.

Yea you gotta be waiting with the filters set. 10-15AM on most days (mainly monday) and 3PM on Friday is the big one. I don't really care about color so I'd rather save money on some flops than do custom. I heard custom also takes a couple months right? Also custom has been closed again for at least 2 weeks

They reopen for new custom orders after they filled the last orders. So that's like every 6 weeks. So it takes about 6 weeks to make a custom toy now.
