Whooowee, this thread has seen better days.
I wanted to let everyone know that I'm finally coming out of art hibernation [
trumpet blare] . My current job is partly seasonal and will be closing up mid December - late January. I'll have more time on my hands than I'll know what to do with, so what better time to get back into the swing of things amirite XD I'll be doing a few personal doodles, but i'm more interested in other people's ideas, so I've come up with an experimental commission:
Its called
Goody Bag. I put up a mega canvas 6800 x 8000 priced at a flat rate of $50USD, that sounds like a lot.... unless you have a bunch of friends
P). Each Goody Bag can hold up to 25 slots, you and your buds can split the costs to as low as $2 a piece! Now the way this works is that once slots open, the first person to claim it will decide the amount they want to put in, the more of the flat 50 you pay, the more page space your character(s) gets. The second person to claim a space will declare an amount and so on and so on until 50 is reached. The tradeoff for this type of comm is that what you get will be a complete surprise unless you contributed to more than 1/4 of the price (in that case you can suggest two keywords for me to work with). Now because this is an experimental comm, it won't be consistent throughout, some will be clean sketched or lines colored in black and white, monochrome, or color, the style or theme might change, some characters might get speech bubbles or lighting, and some might be interacting with others. One thing that will be certain is the maturity rating. The first of these will be
General. Well, that's all for now. I hope this idea is as fun in practice as it is on paper.
[i'll be copy-pasting this into a Journal on FA shortly]
