My favorite beer...just...wow....

 

Hmmm....not so bad, better than I remembered.

 

Not really a fan of black IPAs but seeing how it's from Founders I just had to have it.

 

This one was way to sweet for my liking.

 

13.6% ABV! Wow! Have two of those and that would be a good buzz.

My current drink
Assassin's Creed: The Shirley Templar
-4oz ginger beer
-1oz gin
-1oz grenadine
- garnish cherry
Mix gin and grenadine over ice then pour in ginger beer

 

It's one of my favorites.

 

Kalua over cinnamon horchata icecream in a glass of chocolate mil, with dark chocolate shavings.

 

@scalie I've actually taken to making my own Kahlua at home along with amaretto and grenadine. The flavors are so much cleaner that way, you know exactly whats in it and of course its soooo much cheaper. My family drinks a lot of Snapple so I always have plenty of good quality glass bottles to store my liqueurs in too.

 

Gaaah, I need to remember to contribute here more. I certainly drink enough.

 

Mmmmm....gonna follow this with the 6 and 10 after.

I decided to photo an old bottle with the new bottle and beer. I collect a lot of breweriana and the left bottle is an old silkscreen version.

Interesting to observe no mention of strength except that it's a Category S beer, and only a small inscription. It's in French but translated it says, "Beer brewed by the Trappist Fathers at Rochefort Abbey." Pretty weird old bottle. Of course certain legalities forbid such mysteries...hahaha~

 

got some gin and tonic today. new amsterdam may not be the highest quality gin, but it's a good mixer

god damn this chocolate stout is chocolatey, tastes like a dark chocolate bar, most I've had before now aren't this chocolatey
