Scammer no scamming

I started finding the photo sources that hijackal/meerkatstreamer/epastert /latersmoker had edited to run their scam and they just deleted all four of their scam posts.

(Oddly this one was off tumblr), also didn't snag their imgur upload link before they deleted it.

Sorry mods you can delete this (couldn't find a "beware" section) I just wanted to shove it in their scamming face.

 

Good investigation there! Glad we could stop them before things got ugly.

 

Just want to add my appreciation also, new here since I "found" items available here that were all sold on Reddit in minutes. Knew the new accounts, weird looking time/usernamestamps, similar posts and activity time, and the complete no on PayPal were red flags but drew the line at an hours old payment account. Thanks for finding these photos. I also looked for them but didn’t find anything. How did you find these? I also tried Google image search …

 

He flipped the images after stealing them.

 

And that's why when they say Venmo or Cash apps you walk away, I got refunded on my paypal.

 

Ohhh I see … geez.

 

Mainly a shotgun approach to keywords, then adding in date restrictions (mainly for stuff older than 1yr). The big winner was "bad dragon collection reddit" followed by "bad dragon collection [names of some listed toys]"
