Site Not Secure Pop-Up?

Sometimes when I enter the site, my browser (Chrome) tells me that the site is not secure and I have to go into advanced settings to let myself through. Also when I let myself through, to the left of the URL it says "Not Secure" and when I click on it, it basically says I shouldn't enter any personal/private info because it could get stolen by attackers. Any idea of why its doing this? It just recently started happening and only with this website.

 

Same here. The LetsEncrypt SSL Certifacate expired 30.08.2021.
LetsEncrypt certificates only last 3 months. Because of this there is normally a auto-renew service on the webserver.
Maybe the service on this website stopped. The webmaster should investigate it.

 

Still get this error pop up ... just did it today.

 

I also get this pop-up every time I go to the web page.

 

Same here, the error with the expired certificate persists.

 

The auto renewal script for letsencrypt is probably broken in some way. Maybe they changed hosting providers and didn't setup the script again or maybe their DNS provider updated some APIs and the script needs an update, I don't know. I have set this up for some wordpress sites before so if the site owner and staff members have no one else who they can turn to send me a msg and we can try and get it running again.

Certificate is still invalid, is it safe to trade or hackers might stole my data?

 

You don't need to worry. The certificate is expired, but that does not prevent data from flowing securely between the site's server and your browser.

Only that you can no longer verify it is really the legitimate server you're establishing your connection to.

I was talking to @HazetheFox about it but communication stopped and he seems to not have been online for a long time. If any of the other mods read this, I'm also still available to help fix this. @FrozenRain and me can probably even discuss courses of action to minimize potential mistakes in fixing this.

 

Mods I think can't do that, it has to be done by the owner (or Mod with privilege's to do that)
I don't even know the owner of this Forum, or it is listed anywhere.

 

Just a quick update, I've shot a mail to the standard mail addresses hostmaster, postmaster, webmaster and root@dragon-hoard.com, and while all of these were not implemented, admin@dragon-hoard.com went through, so maybe I'll hear something back soon.

I suspect the "contact us" link at the bottom of the site pages may route to the site owner, so maybe try there if no one replies to the admin address @FrozenRain @nectsfw.
