Sooo... What'd ya get!?

Sure, I know it's not X-mas yet, but it seems these days people either order stuff for themselves or just don't celebrate it on the actual day. In my family, at least now, we don't stick to tradition and just exchange gifts early. My sisters lives on the other side of town, so instead of going there, giving presents, go back home, come back X-mas. I mean sure, we could do it all on X-mas day, but that's when you want to stay home and roll around in your presents (except legos, cause that'd hurt) in front of the fireplace or what have you. Besides you probably ate too much the night before. My father is going to Tahiti (I hear it's magical) so he won't be here... so I have to give him his present before he leaves.
That leaves me and my cat. And my cat forgot to get me something... I'm going to nom on his ears.

Which brings me to this thread. I've gotten all... well almost all my presents already (some are in transit or I already listed in another thread). They are:

Oh and my coat... must be on slowboat from China (half-literal) as I ordered back in the middle of November... still not here, but netherlands post says it's on it was to the US. Yes, Netherlands Post... but not coming from anywhere near Europe.

So what did you all get... you can tell me after X-mas if that's how y'all do it. I kinda miss some of the traditions we had. And now it's a fake tree held together with duct tape, no big dinner, presents opened on the wrong day, playing RuPual Christmas songs (not that I mind that)... what the hell happened?

 

I know I'm getting socks. Which I'm super hyped for

 

I haven't gotten anything yet really, but I think I'm getting a new purple duvet/comforter for my bed, many many gift cards to eb games and best buy, a remote for my camera, a tripod, and plenty of socks x3 Though no sexy socks, I will be getting those myself x3 Hopefully I get a good amount of best buy cards or Christmas money. I'm eyeing a ps4 hehe x3

I really, really loath receiving gifts, he it for the holidays or my birthday, or any other occasion. I specifically tell people not to get me anything, and if they do I usually burn it.

I'm not joking.

Though I enjoy getting stuff for others. I'm still looking at a couple paintball guns for the little boy cousins and some MLP stuff for the little girl cousins.

 

I don't like receiving presents and it's not a waste if people listen.

 

My mom bought a partial fursuit off someone on FA for christmas for me and I'm just waiting for the person to finish the parts and mail it out :3~ Excited to get him x3. Also getting a new controller for my 360, a few Amiibo's (if we can find Villager and Wii Fit Trainer x__x), new drawing tablet and some other surprise things my mom decides to get.

I did buy two gifts for myself. A set of Frozen glasses that are super cute and a new e-cig. Too damn lazy to set up my hookah outside (mom's rules: no smoking in the house) and it's too cold so the e-cig is wonderful. Now I won't freeze in the garage while waiting half an hour for the coal to get nice and hot x__x.

 

Yeah, I have to say, I don't like receiving presents. I currently have a small stash of stuff I've gotten off my family that I didn't particularly want but don't have the heart to throw away.

On topic, I haven't gotten anything yet, as my family don't really do christmas stuff. If anything, I'll probably be getting some money closer to christmas day.

 

For me I'm not sure what I'll be getting, hopefully I'll be getting some money so I can survive until I get my refund check from school in January. So for now it's less about gifts and more about survival >.>

 

Not sure what I am getting either just know I am getting 2 dildos from a friend one is Sleipnir and the other is a surprise in a surprise colour. Purrrr so excited.

I love getting and giving gifts! I don't mind receiving gift cards, but I don't like to give them. Which is really annoying when I have two people that say "Nothing." when I ask. But I like to put some thought into my gifts. One time I gave my sister and brother-in-law a miniature zen garden complete with a little rake. I go antique shopping and find things they couldn't get anywhere else. I found an Illustrated Encyclopedia of Sex from 1954 that I gave to fuck-buddy I had. Wine glasses for my father. A book on dragon-lore for a friend I've never met (internet only).
Gift cards? It's like "I don't care enough to think of something for you". I know that's not what they are saying when they do that, but there's no creativity to it. Now, if there's a present that goes along with the gift card, that's fine. But like I said, I don't mind too much if I'm given cards. I already got 2 this year, 3 I haven't even used from years ago, and gave 1 away.

 

I to love receiving gifts but only if they are to my tastes or unique. I hate receiving clothes because people buy me girly things that are in fashion at the time. So it begs to question if they truely knew me then they'd know I only wear gaming tshirts and jeans. Unless it's a hint to be more girly and heck that isn't going to happen anytime soon.
I love giving gifts to. Because I enjoy the search of finding something unique and rare to make someone happy. I have yet to have a sad face to any of my gifts I have given.

*I get these every year. At first, it was great because you'd get the 5 flavors, Wild Cherry, Tropical and my favorite, Butter Rum. Then they decided to do away with Butter Rum. And then tropical. Now they only give the 5 flavor ones. WTF lifesaver? Y U SO STINGY? I don't really want to get these for X-mas anymore.

I am quite honestly the worst person to shop for…… I don't always know what I want, and if I find it, I buy it! Simple as that.

I have taken a bit more interest in socks, underwear (Bought myself $100 of the sexy variety just recently) and basic accessories recently, so I pretty much told my family to get that for me.

 

I'm really hoping for a Chromebook. I'm aiming to go back to school next year so that will be very helpful. May Santa be good to me!

 

I'm not really going to get anything this year. And if I do it'll probably be something like a small giftcard or something edible like chocolate.

I did however treated myself with some rather cool gifts. (If I may say so myself)

I caved and bought another gift for myself u 3 u. I had some extra money on my paypal and some in my account so I bought a cute hoodie. It's printed to look like Bonnie the Bunny's chest from FNAF. Bonnie scares the living shit out of me but I love him so much. So excited for when it comes. Will be 7-20 days tho x__x.
