I finally started to check out Steven Universe. It is a good show now here are my questions. (a lot of them)

Why are the gems here?
I ask because I remember Pearl talking about about planets "Ruled by other Gems".

Why Lapis Lazuli was turned into a mirror?
Why are all of the other gems on earth going crazy?
How is keep your own in prisons helping them?
Lapis said, "I never believed in this place." SO what is the earth meant to be for Gems?
Why are all of the off world Tele-pods broken (and who broke them)?
Why did Pearl worry when Lapis made it off world?

At this point I don't know who are the good guys.

 

*It is my theory that the Gem Race makes a habit of spreading to other planets, but on earth something happened to cause a great upheaval followed by the Gem Wars
*Lapis herself wasn't exactly a mirror but her gem was placed in one. I don't think the Crystal Gems put her in there, but I do know that they knew there was a gem in there and just never bothered to release her or didn't know how.
*We still don't know why gems turn into monsters, it may have something to do with their state of mind
*not sure if I read that one right so I can't answer
*I've always latched onto that repeated phrase in SU about "believing" in things, maybe that was the cause of the Gem Wars, some of the gems wanted to give up on earth
*I think all of the gems that wanted to stay on earth broke the home warp, but they all turned into monsters except for the main 3
*I think Pearl was worried that Lapis was going to tell the other gems about earth and how the Crystal Gems are still with the humans

I don't think the other gems are as altruistic as the main 3. lapis and the gem that cane through the portal seemed pretty selfish and arrogant. hell, they might even b a race of conquerors lol.
