Tear on ball loop

I've just received my first bad dragon order. However after opening I've noticed my magnus sheath has a tear in the ball loop. Bad dragon will refund the cost of the sheath but I'm left out of pocket from the shipping and import fees.
Is there anyway to fix or repair it? I haven't used it yet but think if I tried it might break the loop.

Mr Hankey's Toys sells Sil-poxy which bonds silicone together. I've never used it, and it's probably not right for every repair, but it's worth considering. Look in the "Acessories" page here:
