    Yeah that's my plan for whenever I get a new phone, stay at least a couple generations behind the newest gen, because normally the older ones tend to be better built.
    Plus like you said I don't think I'll be using half the stuff that comes with it.

    Still no smartphone for me. This kindle is the closest I've got, though my phone does have (very slow, very limited) internet. I just don't want to deal with them.

    Yeah I've seen that... very freaky. Sadly there is no way to he common folk to ever purchase it... and the fact that is incredibly expensive regardless. I would so use it in costume.
    Just like my idea of hooking up a video camera to LED's line up as a "sheet", install the camera on a backpack pointing behind me, put the sheet on the front of my body. Essentially, people would be seeing through me. Not gonna happen.
