The "Good Mood" Thread

YES. The drawing class I signed up for is starting! Aah, I was so unsure it would start at all because if not enough people signed up for it it wouldn't. Gah, this was good news to wake up to!

 

People have complimented me on my art and told me they can't wait for me to upload new stuff for two days in a row. MY HEART IS DOING FEELS xux

But I haven't done any art in about nine months, so I'm a little apprehensive!

People already like what you CAN do, practice will just make that even better!

Speaking from an artist's point of view...you will pretty much never LOVE your own artwork. That's why the fans and comments are the most important part!

 

so true. At best I can say I "like" my own style, I'm just not floored with it or anything

 

Woo! Just gave blood, and dont feel lightheaded this time.

 

So after a long fight against myself, I finally accepted that I needed to go back on my ADHD meds. Holy crap, I'm pissed at myself for not doing this sooner. I've gotten almost a month's worth of work done in the last two days. I've been so motivated and concentrated, that I feel like a new, more effective human being. For the first time in a long while, I'm functional again.

I'm getting my very first partial in October. It's sooooo cute but I'm not showing him off till the end of the October fur meet and Halloween and idk if i can contain myself between then omfg. He's a premade and super cute and sooooooo orange I'm so excited.

Hugs!!! Good luck on physics, electricity was hard for me too. The things in physics that I generally prefer involve waves of any sort. Also, serious respect on the org chem exam! The lecture for that class nearly killed me. Lab was better, at least.

 

It's always pretty amusing when I catch somebody off guard by thanking them when they call me weird

I know exactly where I stand with Lizzy now, and it's glorious. Got back a little bit ago from what was pretty much another date night, went and ate at California Pizza Kitchen because fuck yeah pizza, then walked around Southpoint Mall just goofing around, ended up at Hot Topic where she picked out a few Disney related items (well, only two, a Peter Pan bra and panties to match, alongside Doge socks that are pretty fucking brilliant and an Adventure Time plush,) that I got for her despite her protests (well, actually it was more of a compromise on her part because I was going to get her this Harley Quinn corset she eyeballed for like 5 minutes that would've doubled the cost,) and then I took her back home, which, during the drive, involved her affirming that I was almost spot on about why things are like this between us (her life is incredibly unstable and uncertain right now and I'm someone who is kinda counter balancing that a little bit and she doesn't want to fuck with that at all right now,) and then shortly afterwards she laid her head on my shoulder and ended up falling asleep, which was so god damn adorable.

 

I'm in a good mood because I started the pay period off with a 13 hour day. Two weeks of 10h+ days, and I'll be one happy fox when payday rolls around again.

Today's my birthday, I'm in a good mood of this alone. But, I also made a cake myself! And it turned out so good, everybody wanted a recipe! That's a success because most of the time my best achievement when cooking is not setting half of the house in flames lol.
