The Video Game Thread

This is like the level of detail I want to put into cosplay and props.

 

That's the thing I never cosplay because I want it to be exact, like its an honor to the creator of said character to bring it to life how it was envision. Doing a half ass job and saying it's cosplay often annoys me at conventions

 

Oh yeah, Volpin Props has superb quality things. I love the rifle from District 9 the most.

 

Yeah, I try not to be too judgmental, but when I see "cosplays" that are nothing more than roughly-eye-measured pieces of cardboard that have been sloppily painted and decorated with tat and a cheap wig, it makes me cringe. Like, surely if you're into this character/cosplay enough to show it, you'd at least put some effort into it.

 

So the first DLC pack for Xcom 2 has been released. Here's one of the new outfits:

Same here. I don't even know how to start in on cosplaying. Having facial hair I'm not willing to remove doesn't help.

 

Cosplaying as a Division agent is pretty easy. The only potential expensive thing is a prop gun.

Couple of friends and I are going as our Division agents for an upcoming convention. I just need to locate a prop M4 and handgun.

 

Eh, that's fine, but I mean cosplaying as a specific character. *adds cosplaying to computer's dictionary* I have a really good pirate outfit, but it's nothing anyone is going to recognize. Just "generic pirate".

 

Wear a white over the top of it. Bam, AssCreed cosplay.

 

Except I don't play AssCreed so that wouldn't make sense.

 

This sums up pretty much all of my matches in CSGO lately. I'm pretty sure @SnowLycan can relate too

 

All the changes in Legion (next WoW expack) are terrible so far... they're making the Arms spec for Warriors WORSE, even though it's already brain dead in terms of gameplay - now they're removing self heals. So not only will it be boring, you'll die easily. A plate wearing glass cannon with less survivability than other "glass cannon" classes. What the living fuck.

 

Grr, irritated about something in Stardew Valley.

So, I got a starfruit seed as a prize for something, and I was all excited, because I have a big starfruit tree in my backyard IRL, and that thing puts out fruit like crazy.

Well, apparently in Stardew Valley, this translates to a small stalk plant that puts out one starfruit and immediately dies.

How do you get something so wrong about farming a crop, in a game about farming crops?




Other than that the game is fantastic.

 

Oh wow is Falcon Lost, Division's first "raid" very hard but man is it fun.

My group and I hasn't had this much fun since the first raid on Destiny.

 

Miitomo I'm a red headed dog eared ninja. Woooo.

 

What mmo's dose everyone play on here? I have Blade and soul, terra, and elder scrolls online.

 

This sums up my group's experience playing Falcon lost on challenge mode.

I was interested in ESO but I heard it had a ton of problems so I never picked it up.

 

Oh man I forgot about destiny. I never had anyone to play it with so I kinda forgot about it after awhile. Still pretty fun tho

This makes me want to go play FarCry 4 and try to be this good
