Toy Comparisons (pics)

Hi folks! This was a pretty important thread on the old forums, and other than discussion of a comparison tool that @KWolf was making (any chance you're still working on that??) I thought we should at least get the thread up and running! The way this works is you post about what you want to see compared and anyone willing to help adds some photos to give you a sense of scale. Extremely useful for seeing what you want to work towards.

I've got Small Flint, Medium Tailstretcher, Medium Clayton, and Large Nox for comparison purposes.

What I'd really like to see from anyone who can help, are the following comparisons:

Large Nox and Large Chance (updated)
Large Nox and Large Ridley (updated)
Large Nox and Medium Flint

 

I don't have any of those toys that you have, but I do have a Medium Flint and new Large Chance! Anything else I can compare them to?

Hi, firstly, I'm really sorry I just disappeared, had a few problems with family, since then free time was short. I can say its somewhat done, a very simple version, it just needed pics that can be more or less matched when comparing to a coke can. That's the boring and time consuming part of it. ^^'

 

How can we contribute??? ^^

 

I had been using the website photos, I can use anyone's photos, but I should provide a reference for angle and if you want to do the resizing to scale.

 

Does anyone have any pics of a small legacy Chance and the newer small Chance? I'd love to see them side by side!

 

I would love to see a medium Tucker next to a medium UF Chance.

I finally got a comparison from a user on the old forum, so I thought I'd post it just to be helpful. ^^
Here is Large Nox, Medium Flint, and Medium Xenogon.



Followed by Large Chance (Flared and Unflared) with Large Nox.

small soft Crackers, large (supposed to be soft but i really doubt it) Crackers, and medium Terra


and Cracker sticking to my door. (before he fell and got himself covered in lint... again)


i really think he is medium or harder. he doesnt really squish a lot (even less than Terra (i squished parts of similar thickness- his tip and Terra's knot)) and stands up real straight. no less usable, i can still take him, but dang is it unforgiving. i bottom out too.

need to work on taking him a little easier. XD

 

It's probably not a medium firmness. The large crackers in soft doesn't actually squish that much because it's so hefty. The larger the toy, the less give in soft firmnesses. Just like how large toys in firm feel more firm than medium toys in firm.

 

@DameKathryn idk it seems like it can stand too well for a soft XD

 

my thoughts exactly. XD he stands real straight and isnt really wiggly.

 

it is standing quite well, but is also sagging a ton in the suction cup picture.
I will also add though... I think BD has firmed up their soft firmness since switching from the number system. My soft Clayton didn't feel nearly as soft as my legacy 3 tongue.

 

*relevant because my Large Crackers is from before that switch
(Just so you don't think I'm Hella random lol)

 

i don't know when he was made, only that he is at least third-hand. my soft Small feels way more squishy even when i squish his entire base compared to one of the large's spines.
