I got some toys I don't really use anymore and stuff to buy for my first house. So, needing to slim down my collection a bit. All toys have been bleach bathed, and are going to be boiled. Drug/smoke-free, pet-free, disease-free home. However there might be some towel fuzz or maybe a strand of hair on a toy, especially the breastplate cause that thing clings to A LOT. All prices have shipping included into the price.

Duke's paw - one-size - super soft - no flaws short of some fingernail marks at the flat base of the toy - $115

Sure thing. It's only the neckline that was trimmed and that was from the previous owner.

Is the firmness of the Boss Hogg, med-firm, or 75% soft?
I'm asking, because I feel that BD med firmness is a little bit softer than Hankey's med-firm, but harder than their 75% soft.
Only interested if it's 75% soft.

 

Sorry to say but this is the only MHT I've ever owned and it really doesn't feel like it has enough squish to it. It was a secondhand toy and the previous owner couldn't tell me the firmness. I think just the shear number of toys she, she just didn't keep track of them. But I would be surprised if it WASN'T their Med-firm. Sorry I can't give a definite answer to your question,

I think Mr Hankeys medium is about the same as BD firm (8)
Mr Hankeys 75% soft is about the same as BD medium. (5)
I have not tried Mr Hankeys 40% soft, but it’s likely the same as BD soft (3)

For the medium and firm toys, if it’s not a perfect match in firmness, it’s very very close.

It’s too bad that there are not standard ratings for the industry that different manufacturers can agree to use.

 

It does feel about the same as my XL Pearce so I guess it is a 75% Soft. But totally hit the nail on the head about needing a standard rating everyone can agree on. Would make things a lot more convenient.
