Vahaala's art-like stuff

I saw this poor old man picture today (he was running away to get out of the photo, guess he didn't make it xD), and I just had to photoshop this. Not really well done, but I have no patience to make it great either

 

Two things... I battle a huge "art" block, this is why no new pictures were here for a bit. Also I can't really get rid of a feeling that I was actually better at the beginning... It's really discouraging.

 

shushies, youve gotten better! it might not seem like it now because improvement is in EVERY drawing, but it is just REALLY tiny. its not until you look back at least a couple months to see improvement! i still look back to many, many years ago (and cringe).

you could try doing pixel art~!

 

You need to practice mooooore and then you'll see the improvements more easily. They're spread out and because of the gap between pieces you don't notice all the little things you learned coming together. Draw more often and you will see the tiny incremental improvements appear quicker!

I was positively surprised by how well it turned out. I tried a lot of times digitally, and couldn't get a single hand right, but here... A no-brainer practically, and it's like the best thing I made xD I'm sticking with paper and pencil for now.

That's an amazing hand sweetie. That's one of the hardest things to draw in anatomy and your attempt is great.

Finally finished this. A huge stone off my mind Also this turned out to be quite interesting, as each panel was drawn with huge gaps inbetween, so each single panel is different in style and skill.

Update on the previous WIP. I'm almost done, should finish it in ~2-3 days, maybe until the end of the week - I still have some background work to do, and coloring as well.

 

Did *some* work on it. Lack of motivation sucks, but eh. I tried to make an effect of "daylight entering the dark room", I think it looks decent. Also tried some shading, more of it to come.

 

Little work left, after that I might draw something new. Also, shading! \o/

 

And done. There's so much wrong things with this picture but I couldn't work on it anymore really. Having it finished made for a slight relief.

Now, to help me motivate myself, I'm wondering whether to make 3 slots for requests - maybe people poking me all the time for their picture will work as a motivating kick in my ass XD

 

So I did it... On one side it's my first NSFW piece, on other it's crappy. *shrug* Anyways uploading it here just because.
