A bold step. I know you'll do great :3
Fortune favors the bold
And maybe the slight insane
The only reason he won is because the democrats rigged their election and got a weak candidate out of it. @u@
WHERE DO YOU WORK???
Lao Tzu once said: "There in no greatest danger than understimating your opponent.' Sun Tzu said something vaguely familiar. And this may be the problem. Everyone thought Hilary would win, and people laughed at Trump. If you don't take your opponent seriously, you stand to lose to them.
Not making any statements about the outcome, just an observation.
You can find or order them at your local Walmart.
Still laughing at how I ran into a coworker at the kink club last night. Awkward but funny. Introduced him to the violet wand and now he's addicted too.
Was there alone, partners are busy this weekend. Gathered up the other loners that were there so I didn't feel so awkward. Really wanted to try fire play. Aside from the smell of burning hair, it looks like a wonderful experience.
DONE!!! I'M DONE! CAN'T BREATHE !
I made a thing
Oh wow that looks awesome @scalie
Is that a nautilus? (or something similar to it?)
it's a piece of scrap sheet steel I found on the ground at the school's studio and since I liked the shape I decided to mess with it and this is what I got. all the shaping and hammering was done cold and then it was heated to normalize the stress and grain structure and then I used some gilders paste on the inside to give it some contrast
I'm going to share an assignment I had to do for my class a week and a half ago. It was entered into a game design challenge. (Btw, the theme of the challenge was to design a game that revolved around interior design as its main mode of gameplay).
Spoiler: The Idea
The idea is to design the interior for a haunted house, where the player's goal is to decorate the house in such a way as to attain levels, attract guests, and gain points in order to make their haunted house the best.
Building mode would be in a top-down camera view, with the objects and interior partially 2D and partially 3D visually. The store would only be available during this mode of the game. Objects offered in the store would include various decorations, building layouts and design (interior and exterior), and pre-made rooms that are empty or already have a few objects in them. Advertisements that would bring more guests to the player's haunted house would also be available for purchase in the store. Higher level items that give the most in-game advantage would be locked until certain levels or point totals are reached. Some rare objects would also be able to be found in-game, with the drop percentage increasing by a marginal percentage they higher a player's level is.
After building the room to the player's satisfaction, the option to "playback" the room becomes available. The building mode (along with the store) would close and would either remain in top-down view or go into a free camera mode, where the player could maneuver the camera to watch certain areas of the house. Points and in-game currency would be earned during this "playback" mode, as the guests react to the objects and difficulty of the house.
Points and cash earned in "playback" mode would be able to be used in the store to purchase new decorations, layouts, or advertisements to increase the quality of the player's haunted house. There are two types of points that can be earned: Fear points and popularity points. Fear points are earned by decorations bought in the store or found in the game as well as difficulty for guests to get out of the house, and popularity points are earned off a portion of total fear points as well as the total number of guests who visit the haunted house.
Experience points would not be used to earn levels; instead, levels are determined by a combination of popularity and fear points earned by the player, with popularity points being the biggest impact on level gain.
Items or rooms a player no longer wants or needs can be removed by one of three ways: demolishing, selling, or crafting. Demolishing would take away all of the points earned by the object, selling would give the player cash and take half of the earned points away, and crafting helps make high quality items with no negative impact on already earned points. Crafting is only available at higher player levels. Lost points do not affect the player's level.
This is some of the stuff I have been doing this term, and I love every moment! Maybe I'll share my current assignment once I'm done typing my description.
Good lord, I didn't even realize I had a business oppertunity sitting in my inbox over on FurrAffinity until I logged in.
Of course I replied with an apology about my super late response and to ask if it was still possible to submit designs and get a commission for it! Now I've got a reason to be more active on the site.
I know its a bit early, but I want to wish everyone who's celebrating a happy holiday and hope that everyone (despite recent circumstances) has a wonderful day as we slowly reach the end of this terribly shitty year.
My year actually hasn't been too terrible overall. The last few months have definitely been amazing. Hopefully things continue on this trend for me and others. And if things aren't so great, I hope the new year brings with it a fresh start and new opportunities for joy and fulfilment.
...does that REALLY say "Six Months"???
Wishing to everyone who celebrates it, a very happy and safe Thanksgiving Day !
