If you're worried about shipping costs, call around local post offices and find one that carries USPS large flat rate game board boxes. They will fit a disassembled FM18 with attachments and several toys for under $20 and include partial insurance.

 

You sure about that? I have the box they shipped it in and its like 21x9x9 in size roughly

I can personally confirm that the FM18 does fit in the large game board flat rate boxes; that's how I shipped mine when I sold one about six months ago. All that's required is unscrewing the three allen head bolts holding the motor mount.

 

It barely leaves any room for packing "padding" inside. Fm18's frame is partially plastic. I'd rather not risk further damage and just ship in the box it came in.

My only concern is it being soft. Does that cause any issues? I was going to get a medium, but maybe since it’s thicker it’s a bit stronger.
