All the hugs and all the support to you. I hope you can give him an as perfect farewell as your grandmother had from all her loved ones. And take your time for the grief that may or may not follow. It's okay if you feel sad and miserable for a while. It's also okay if you don't, and just remember the good times.

@Exeter my sincerest condolences. Anything you need to talk about, know you have the community here for you.

As for being not so active lately, I too am dealing with a death and just balancing a lot of things in general. A 51 year old coworker of mine had a heart attack over last weekend and died, so not not only is it sad, my crew has been low on man power and had to put in 14ish hour shifts. Plus, I've been doing a new exercise plan, which takes up a ton of time.

People in League of Legends are so sad. Team says nothing at all throughout the game, doesn't even use the ping system. Then gets mad when I try and force them to say something by calling them mexicans...OH THE JOY.

It's been a long week full of mixed but mostly good feelings. I'm glad to be home again, and I can't wait to see Exeter. I feel right now like we need each other. Hopefully we'll meet next month. I'm slowly developing tighter bonds to both him and his existing boyfriend, both beautiful in their own ways.

Not dull, just less and less time to spend puttering around. I imagine with the summer over, many people have other things that need to be done.

Happy Thanksgiving long weekend all! (Or Us Canadians only, I guess). Enjoy the family time, the Ham/Turkey/Food, and especially the Monday off!

Chosen as an alternate for the verdict, meaning I was let off early. Which is good, as I may have been the only one who would have sided with the defendant in this case.

In other news, found a barber shop in the local mall. Also good, as I'll need to shape my devil beard soon.

I have a chance to go to another store for a day and make time and a half but it would be on my birthday. As much as I want to, I'll have to pass this time around.

Thank you all, for the kind words. It's surreal to think that the next step is to get their house ready for a sale, to divvy up and sell their possessions, and to sell the thing he probably loved most in the world, his truck. My mom has been driving it around for him for so long, it's weird to think it'll be gone soon. Last night they gave me and my boyfriend some of the money that was in his wallet. They also took home a bunch of the over-the-counter medications they had stockpiled during chemo which my mom and aunt use anyways. They're just going to be disposed of by the pharmacy, so they're happy to put them to use, given that they pay for them out-of-pocket as is.
