The "Good Mood" Thread

so one of the guys who works for me is one of the chairmens sons. of course he only has this job because of his father. probably the most entitled, whiney, lazy, spoilt kid I've ever come across. Now I can't fire him because of his dad, but -despite threatening to daily- he can't actually run to daddy and complain because it would shame him or whatever rich people worry about, so I've pretty much just taken it upon myself to make this kid my personal bitch. it never stops being fun.

 

I'm feeling better that I broke up with my ex. I was always afraid to invite him to any of my friend's houses because of his explosive anger and might punch one of my friend's face to a bloody pulp. I did feel afraid of him deeply inside the whole time we were together. I feel free and sexually free. I was happier being promiscuous and now I can be promiscuous. THE CHAINS THAT HELD ME IN PLACE HAVE SHATTERED! BRAAAAGGGGHHH! 8D

 

So this past Saturday, I was sitting around my apartment with six hours to spare.

I looked up at my Small Galaxy Star Flint, nicknamed The Cosmos, and thought, "I've finally got time."

Took three hours and both my mini Flints, Spice and Frosting, as a warmup and cooldown, respectively, but HOT DANG, for a second try, I didn't end up in the ER this time!! I actually fit the Cosmos in my junk. Even if it was mostly me just muttering "make it hurt make it HURT" as I fapped so frantically, I didn't know if it'd still be inside me or shoved out when I came. (It stayed in. Somehow.)

...I am a tiny fellow. A Small is quite a victory, trust me.

Only downside was, for the rest of the day, I had this laid-back "yehhhhh" feeling that I couldn't really explain the reason for to my acquaintances, haha.

So i'm between classes right now and i decide to go up the computer lab just to fart around and I noticed there was a USB stick still stuck into the side of of the computer.

Now most folks would be all like "Oh snap, free memory", but after having lost one of these things before at a critical moment, I know the pain all too well. So I open the thing and scroll around for a IF FOUND document or something but there wasn't one (ALWAYS MAKE AN IF FOUND DOCUMENT IN NOTEPAD PPL, IT WILL SAVE YA LIFE), so then i sorted the files by most recent and found something from 1 hour ago. It was a research paper of some kind and not only did it have the person's name (lets say Ali Cat) but also the class, professor name and course number.

Now at first i was just going to send an email with my phone number in it rather than turn it in (the library lost and found is full of USBs and trying to figure out which one is yours among a handful that look just like it is hell), but then I started thinking "What if they need this thing LIKE RIGHT NOW" and "What if they're one of those ppl he never check their school email!" so i put on my detective hat and got to work. The previously mentioned research paper was for a chemistry class, so naturally i started at the chemistry professors office hallway. I finally spotted the right one but the prof wasn't in Luckily their schedule was posted outside the door and even more lucky, that exact professor was teaching the class with the matching course number, right at that very moment, so i hustle down to the right place and peek in through the door window and sure enough a class is going on. I take a post it note and write the student's name on it then cautiously enter the room (you never know if a professor is the type to immediately fly off the handle when they're class is interrupted), the lady prof pauses and asks whats up and i pass her the stick, she calls the person out and to my surprise Ali Cat turned out to be a big black guy and not a tiny girl like i imagined lol, but he seemed really grateful and now I feel good and fuzzy inside for having helped someone

Me find lost object, did detective work, returned it to the owner. Now feel good karma

So a bunch of my parts for my HTPC came today, and other than that being all happy and fun. I just kept thinking "I know what I'm doing." And I don't know why but that sentence just feels so damn good.

 

Oooh, I love that feeling!

Passed my EHV Switching assessment at work! So now I get to go and 'play' with 132,000 volt switches

Man, nothing confirms that my weight training game has gotten fierce better than the following:

*Me doing shoulder press with free weights*
Two fit guys come over and start scanning the weight racks
Guy A: I don't see them, they're not here
Guy B looks over at me: Oh, she has them
*my internal monologue* Yes I do, now wrestle me for them

 

lol Just don't hit anyone with a dumbbell if things come to blows :3

 

I wish it had come to "blows" *intense winking* lol

 

So my day started off in one hella bad mood way, as my one day of just peace and quiet, just having the house to myself, fell apart as my beloved partner had an epileptic seizure in public.

But I underestimated her. She recovered in half an hour, went to take a nap, and by noon was up and moving. She was going to ComicCon, come hell, high water, or epilepsy. Three ibuprofen and a proper breakfast later, I put her on the light rail into town.

So today is a good day after all. My kids are hanging out with each other, my partner is having a good time, and I get the house to myself. I have so far gardened a little (mostly involving a drill and some screws, to set up the cloche) and had one fantastic two-hour toy orgy: M. Flint ("Flint"), L Chance ("Trixie"), Stubbs ("Twilight"), XL Moko (no name), L Flint ("Atlas"), XL Flint ("Goliath").

Time for lunch, then to head back to the cafe for some writing time. The laptop's battery should be full by then.
