Where the fuck are all the WD fans?!?!

I personally don't read the comic. I prefer to watch the show first otherwise I will be disappointed somehow.
    PLEASE WARN FOR SPOILERS
I'm going to be so damn depressed if they kill the only lesbian on the show. =n= Did anyone watch Talking Dead? Josh McDremitt is actually pretty hot considering  What do you think of Alexandria? I love it. Scarol is awesome, she is seriously going to kill that little kid Sam. xD I love how she's acting like a clumsy housewife when she is one of the top two hardened members (I consider Rick to be first).

I'm loving this season. More than any other. Seeing everything they've come through, who they are now feels really believable. Carol is hitting such a soft spot for me, I have a thing for mean old cantankerous matriarchs. And I knew all episode (Spend) why she was pushing the kid away. We know what happened last time she let a child give her a reason to be soft. It nearly destroyed her. And the time before that too.

Alexandria is really making me wonder what they plan to do. The prison had a conflict on the horizon with Woodbury so close by, but I know they want another season, which tells me the conflict that will tie this one up is already in Alexandria. Whatever happens, the pieces are already on the board and moving.

    Daryl's new bike is AMAZING.

I'm sad how many characters we have seen die this season, Tyrece had been around for quite some time so that one really hurt. But Noah had only been around half a season and the Alexandria jerk was barely a minor character at this point. And now Glenn had a spat with him and is returning home without the guy. You can see the setup a mile away at this point.

I can't believe we're down to one black guy, and that's after travelling through Atlanta and coming to the outskirts of DC. I think there's one background black guy in Alexandria but he doesn't count at this point. I've heard the phrase "Black highlander" (There can only be one!) thrown around a few times and it seems to apply just as much as the "magical negro" trope.

But hey at least we have domestic abuse and PTSD to look forward to!

This season is definitely the best! So many good episodes and a ton of deep meaning. It doesn't surprise me how Carol is acting with the kid. I don't think she would have been as harsh if he didn't see her sneaking around, but she now knows how much a child can damage so she has to play hard.

Well you know Rick is going to end fucking Jessie and killing Pete..... Until -gasp SAM TELLS HIS MOM ABOUT CREEPY CAROL... Lol idk. Not sure how this will pan out.

I'm kind of happy to see cast change... As soon as I started liking Beth she gets killed, which is just great. :/ Tyreese was considered the "moral compass" of the group and him dying left Sasha in a daze and weird (understandable). I do want a more diverse group, but honestly unless Sasha fixes her shit she will be killed or die. Gabriel is a fucking idiot, I don't even see the purpose of him being there. They saved him and now he is all "oh you shouldn't have let them in" really? I Noah served his purpose by helping out Beth and with a lame leg I didn't see him getting far.... but I was starting to like him! It bothers me that there are only white people in Alexandria rofl?

It makes it worse that the jerk died and Gab is being an ass. Thankfully Maggie heard. I wonder if she will tell the group? If she doesn't and Rick fights/kills Pete..... Deanna with flip shit.

At least we have an encounter with Morgan to look forward to?!?!

My big worry is this idea that Rick just has to kill Pete. The first thing he should do, to keep his group safe, is tell Deanna. They should confront him and actually treat it like a problem. Deanna has surprised me several times by condoning the group's actions even when counter to their weaker Alexandria instincts, but outright killing a guy without making the reason clear is only going to create a problem. I know they could make it quiet and sneaky, but I'd feel like the writing this season took a dive if they don't do this the right way.

And yeah, what the hell is with Gabriel? His development over the last few episodes has been sporadic and background. First he burns his collar, then he barely says a word for days, then he starts ripping up a bible with no explanation, and then he betrays the group for some reason??? I get the trope, religious guy is too concerned with good and evil and signs and deepities to keep his head on straight. I just feel like his betrayal was out of left field. He's been a problem for a while and I saw it coming as soon as we figured out how much of an A-hole he was. After that it was just a matter of time, waiting for him to crack.

    Holy Season Finale Batman!!

There's so much to say and so much to think about. I think the one thought I have right now is this:

Michonne's relationship with her sword is so interesting to me, it's such a part of her, depending on how things go she goes back to it or puts it away. It reminds her of the world she lives in, and her situation dictates if that's a good or bad thing. She's had so many good conversations about it and so much interesting introspection over it, it's part of her character and really a force of nature in that world.

I like that it's been sort of tainted twice now. That must be part of what she sees and feels when she looks at it, holds it, and uses it. The Governor used it to kill Herschel. And now Pete used it, accidentally, to kill Reg. If I were a superstitious man I'd say the sword is cursed and does nothing but kill good people when it's in anybody but Michonne's hands. But the world isn't that simple. Michonne used it to kill Penny, the Governor's zombie daughter. That act had enormous consequences and brought his wrath down on the survivors as well as the citizens of Woodbury. Andrea's torture and death might be considered consequences of invoking his wrath. Michonne probably carries some of that weight in the sword as well.
