So its been 4 months since we opened our doors.

I would love feedback from you guys, good or bad, about how things are run here. Anything you'd like to see changed? Anything you think we could handle better etc etc.

Anything and everything is ok to discuss, if you don't feel like posting your comments publicly, please start a conversation with me and I will post them anonymously on your behalf.

    Many Thanks

    :)

From the technical side... I think it's the best forums engine I've encountered. Alerts and conversations system is very streamlined, and easy to use. And the layout is nice to the eye too.
From community member side : It's great! You take part in our life too, actively respond to our suggestions/bug reports and nobody here is overly restrictive :) Rules are set clean and simple. I generally love it <3

I agree with Vahaala, the choice of forum software was excellent, very impressed with it.

The community here is very civil, I've seen very little bad behavior at all. The rules are simple, and don't seem to require much moderator enforcement. The staff here have a relaxed approach (Seemingly anyway. Could be more going on behind the scenes ;)) and it works perfectly in my mind.

I do have concerns about the longevity of the community here though. We have a lot of great members! But after the initial influx of new people in the wake of the whole BD forums debacle, it seems (from my standpoint) to have slowed to a trickle, if even that. I really like how private this forum is (and the mods care about our privacy, which is very nice), but I worry it's simply too difficult for like-minded people to even find this place. That said, I don't want to see it made hugely public either. I'm not sure if anything can be done about these concerns :(

My favorite site, forum or not! I feel warm when I'm here like we are a family. Mods aren't like normal mods: they are active and ACTUALLY post relevant things. They don't have to post stuff like "okay lets all be nice or the thread will be locked" because they don't need to!

I wish we did have more members but I honestly wouldn't advertise this forum on places like BD. Too much negative energy there. I don't want this place to be tainted!

I love the site. We have the freedom to like posts (YES), debate if we want, and RP if we want! Personally I don't do the latter but I know many people like to and it makes me happy that they are able to. :) Also the fact that you, as the creator/mod, actually give a shit what we think.

Keep it up! At this rate, I'm staying 5evur!

Well, I'll basically echo whats already been said...

Tis a great forum engine with a great alert system that makes checking updates quick and easy… The community here is also fantastic and carries over most of what made the original forums awesome, while leaving behind most of the less desirable things. It would be great if we could get more members, but it could be very tricky to do so in a reasonable way (We could just post up stuff in BD, FB, ect. advertising us, but that would be a little rude and likely get us in some trouble.)

I suppose we'll have to advertise through word of mouth. All the random new people who show up usually come for that reason and pretty often they just fail to actually post beyond their greeting saying "so-and-so said I should come here."

I'd love to see us advertise or at least make ourselves a little more visible, as is it's hard to even find the site on google. Miss that hyphen and there's no hope at all.

The forum is great! It has a very friendly user base, a simple and elegant UI, and mods who are involved, approachable, and willing to admit mistakes. This site even works well on my phone, and not even Skype does!

I agree with @Kyvinaria mostly on the member influx, we need to invite more good people here. I invited @Misskin and @Tito the Turtle thus far, and they've bee amazing members. :3

And I second what everyone else has said as well.

I am really likin' this place thus far! I haven't really been that active as of late, since I have been a fair bit busy with IRL things. :3c However, I do really like that the current mods are very much alive and human, instead of just; "I am here. I am mod. I post update. I leave. I sometimes come back to tell you that you've been naughty. Goodbye."

The layout and friendliness of the site is a very big plus, too. There's also lots of unique things people can do on their profiles, too! That makes it much more fun. c: I am also enjoying the fact that people can role-play here, as BD said it creates a lot of conflicting issues and just... I don't know. I haven't seen a problem thus far!

The only things I'd like to see change is maybe a bigger influx in members, outside of the people we are used to! It's great to see new faces. :3 That, and I would also like to add that it would be fun if we could add some new skins to the site! Maybe holiday themed ones for the holidays/different occasions? Also, adding the emotes we made a thread about awhile ago! I always end up lost with where I have to go to find them. xD; I just suck, though.

best forum ive been on! its a small amount of users that for the most part everyone knows everyone, where a big family that accepts our weirdness. and we run with it!

plus encouraging but not pushy past the playful manner. (you know. like, 'do eeet! :D ') and the fact that we gain people by words of friends, which helps keeps those forum trolls away. and we have actually active mods that listen to suggestions~

I have been thinking about the forum all wrong. I have been panicked by the lack of new users, but I suddenly realized that this is a place I share with friends and we're here every day, just to talk, and post stuff, and share stories and jokes, and brag, and show off toys, and whatever. I was worried the forum wasn't doing what it's supposed to do. Then I realized it's doing exactly what it is meant to do: provide a place for this happy group of friends to chat and hang out. I think it does its job splendidly well.

It's also a remarkably private space, even by normal forum standards. I think the members and privacy make for a non-threatening atmosphere, which helps people to express themselves here :)

While it's a bit lackng in terms of userbase, yes, it also means we developed closer bond with everybody else. I'd personally kinda freak out more and more if there would be flood of new users. I wouldn't know whether I can trust them enough to share my private details like I'm doing now. I've always felt better in a small group of people that I know well rather than a big crowd of mostly random people. So I agree with you almost 100% :p

I'm glad to see you've come around. I've always thought of this as a gathering of friends, and I'm glad to see I'm not alone in feeling that way.

That's how I feel about this place. A small private community that can post about and share things they normally wouldn't elsewhere. There's not a huge influx of people... and that's okay. I'd encourage people to advertise it to the occasional open-minded friend to keep things going, but I don't expect this place to become a huge hub for dildo-related activity.

Besides, if it was more active, I probably wouldn't post what I do, Exe ;)

*bolts down all the doors and windows*

Oh look! Guess we won't be getting any creepy new users any time soon! ^,=,^

Nothing to add from what others said apart from the fact that I do learn a lot from all the posts and really enjoy reading them.

There's only 1 complaint I have and it's really a first world problem. There's no open all new alerts in new tabs button. So I have to manually middle click on each to look at them, and then scroll down after a while and do it again. So much work :p:rolleyes:

    Everything else is great tho.
