Just got my first toy and...

The outside of the toy is really sticky after my first time cleaning it after usage. It's Leilani for those wondering, but I just want to know why is this happening so fast? I heard they get a little sticky overtime but I just got her. I also just happened to move into a new apartment and our gas isn't turned on so I used cold water to clean her before using her for the first time and I'm beginning to feel like that's what's causing the stickiness. This is my first toy ever so I don't really know if that's just how they all feel but is ther a fix for this? I just don't want the stickiness to pick up anything that could get me or my uhhhh part sick.

 

Silicone is just plain sticky. My fiancee dusts his with a light sprinkling of corn starch. BD CS recommended that to him.

 

Any alternatives to corn starch?

 

Corn starch is the way to go, I use that on all my BD toys and the plain old fleshlight.

 

Does that get them "unsticky" again? I've got a toy that sticks too.

 

Yes it does, I put corn starch on all my BD toys after cleaning and air drying them.

Here’s my „powdered“ Fenrir. Very smooth to the touch and absolutely not sticky. Corn starch washes off easily just with water, but I usually leave it on, as it makes lube stick to the toy a bit better. And if I’m really needy and don’t have the time/patience for a douche, it makes putting a condom on it a breeze, as it doesn’t cling to the silicone. 10/10 would recommend
