I made a price sheet! May revise, but I'd love to know what you all think!

ATTENTION EVERYBODY!
@MurphyAlter has offered to do a massive orgy piece with our characters! Namely :
Me, @Exeter @logitech @Mayhem @Hybrid88 @Brynjhulf and him. If anyone wants to be added/removed give me or him a shot!
The price as of now should be around $37 USD each, but it will change depending on how many people will enter.

 

I want to, but I will be short on money for quite a while yet.
Perhaps in the future.......not to mention, I need to do reference sheet still.

 

Murphy, would you be willing to do single page, 2-3 panel comic commissions, and if so, what price? o3o

 

Hmm, I never considered it, but I suppose I'd be up for it. It'd be a bit more doodly than my normal stuff, I think.

How does $10 sound as a base?

SERIOUSLY, though.....your base price suggestion is the same as your listed Sketch Price. EVERY artist I have seen that is willing to do comic commissions starts the price at their Shaded Commission price plus a little, PER PAGE.

Essentially, take the number of panels in a page that shows a full scene or character, and perhaps the number of smaller profile panels divided by 2, and that's about how many images worth of work you're looking at to make a single page, as I understand.

Some out there like Jay Naylor charge way more, though he's a super huge furry artist if I am not mistaken, as in COMMERCIAL PROFESSIONAL level....the kind of artist qualification DC or Marvel would hire (if they wanted to do furry porn comics >_>).

Well, that's for work that's of equal quality to their normal stuff. Like I said, if I did comics, I'd likely go for something more doodly. Obviously if you'd like it at my standard quality, that sounds like a fair price point.

 

If you are willing to do it at your standard quality, then yes, I'd be fully willing to commission you for that at that price, or even a little bit higher considering it's a comic page and not just a regular image.

Just don't send me an invoice yet, for what I want I need Rassandra's redesign done first! XD
Though I noticed you said something about character creation, perhaps I could ask about the price for that to see if that will work for redesigning her appearance as per what I have in mind so far? c:

Ah, no. I meant that I'd make it a +50% charge on a commission if I was doing character design.

 

Alright, I'm confused then. +50% for character design with the comic page, +50% for character design on a Flat Color/Cel Shading/Soft Shading commission, or is there some ref sheet price that I am not seeing that this +50% pertains to (assuming you do ref sheets)? Guessing several different possible conclusions here because like I said, I really am confused now, in part because I'm getting ready for bed soon. @_@

 

+50% of total price of the commission, same as the NSFW modifier, just because there's more work in the redrawing which will inevitably be done.

 

So just +50% to whatever commission it is that I would be getting? Now I have to decide if I want to commission you for a regular piece for the character design/redesign and then commission you again for the comic page, or do the redesign and comic page in the same commission piece. Which one is easier for you/which one would you prefer?

I don't think I'll be allowing character design and comic commissions to be combined, just to avoid having to redraw multiple images.
