Scott Pilgrim is probably the last movie I've seen that has completely wowed me. It's hilarious, geeky, a visual spectacle, and overall entertaining throughout.

 

I really like something about this. I'm on a Mika kick recently, originally got Origin of Love and Life in Cartoon Motion but this album is really good too? he seems to have one song that is very...sarcastic on each album. But this, I'm not sure what it is. The accidental? Like in "You can be Cruel to me"? Something about it has me shuddering.

Holy crap. Muse returns with a 10+ years old riff. Also I really hope this song reflects what the rest of the album will be like. It really takes me back to the Origin of Symmetry-years.

 

My new signature! moe. is an absolutely A tier live band, and is overall really fun!

I like the fast pace of Timmy Tucker, though sometimes they take it too fast live and it's frightening. My favorite is Kyle's Song. Chuck's solos resonate with me so well.
I do like the live music but not the atmosphere, and the people I go with want to be in the crowd which does not work for me at all.

 

I actually don't know who does the solo in Kyles Song! I've yet to witness one live, and am not as much of a moe.ron (I love how they call their fans that) as I'd like to be. I'd love to catch more shows (only been to 3) but find it hard to prioritize them over Phish or UM.

One thing thats great about moe. though; unlike many jambands, their studio work is nearly as awesome as their live shows. If being in a crowd isn't your thing, the jamband scene can be a little harsh…

and Timmy Tucker was one of the songs that first got me into moe. (along with basically the entire Head Seed album). They play this damn awesome version of it on Jam-On, but never say which show it's from… I gotta find out which one it is...

Renewed Pandora subscription yesterday while driving. Or rather, handed my phone and debit card over so my passenger could renew it for me while I was driving...
