The "Bad Mood" Thread

He left his dog locked up in his car in the 100° sun. I caught him before he went in the store and explained that he needed to take his dog home instead of leaving it in his car while he went shopping, or if he wasn't willing to do that, I offered that if he at least put his windows down I would stay by his car and make sure nobody fucked with it. He basically blew his top telling me to mind my own fucking business Yada Yada Yada. Finally I calmly told him he had two choices: either he took the dog out of the car, or I did. He tells me to go fuck myself and turns around to go into the store. So I busted out his window and got the dog out of the car. He apparently didn't take kindly to that, and unfortunately decided to take a swing at me.

 

Oooh, yeah the PROPER thing to do there is call the cops =3= He's legally in the right, because he can claim he was defending his property... which he was.

True, but the cops around here aren't the type of guys you want to rely on, and I wasn't willing to wait while they took their sweet time getting there. I don't regret what I did.

 

Well, I still can't say you handled the situation in the best way...

 

The dog is ok, that's all that's important.

 

I would have done the same thing.

It infuriates me that it's legal to leave animals in a hot car like that.

 

You know, if I could go back and do it all over, I'd hit him harder.

 

Boy I really hope that guy's lawyer doesn't like dragon dongs...

 

You were lucky the dog didn't attack you, cause many would have taken that as a threat. Now I hope the consequences wont be too hard, wait and see.

 

So it really pisses me off that every time my parents haul me and my two sister's off to church, dad always has to make ignorant ass commentary about my 3rd sister (lesbian, married, and has a baby. Hes always spouting about how she'll "come to her senses someday" and that the lord will fix it. That really makes me mad.

Having my dad's narrow view on everything ever is probably why I don't have any religion at all. Im not atheist though, everything had to come from somewhere but i dont think it has anything to do with the God we're uccostumed to but im rambling now. Point is im tired of him always dumping on her

 

Its at that point you turn to your dad and say, "You know, I don't think the Lord would appreciate what you're saying right now." and then just walk away.

Depends on how fast you're going, if you're on the highway, then yeah it would hurt, but if you're only going like 5 mph then it wouldn't hurt too much if at all.

@Misskin I know how you feel honey. When my gran was alive. (Bless her soul). She would say this everytime a gay couple or lesbians couple were on TV mainly at the lesbian couples. "If any of my gran kids ever turn out gay I'd disown them"
For some reason I always thought it was directed at me. Guess that's what you get for never having a boyfriend. You become the but of everyone's gay jokes. (No pun intended)

 

agreed. i knew one kid like that and he claimed my character Ra was a terroristic threat because of his name when i drew him on a whiteboard. (oh, but i didnt tell him that Ra was a demon~ XD) besides, doesnt everyone know that Ra is the Egyptian solar deity?

basically went like: (sans before argument, he was bullying me over drawing on the whiteboard. i was allowed to because that class was pretty much free time and the teacher liked my drawings)
him: "Ra? and what is that?! is that some sort of terroristic threat?!"
me: "... Ra's his name. he's one of my characters."
