Seriously! The parents of that child should go to jail for being incompetent fuck-tards just as much as the little shit deserves the death penalty for shooting a little girl just because she said "No"...what the fuck has this world come to?

What are you doing it on?

 

Cinnabar - the formation, chemical structure, occurrence, chemical properties, and mine waste EXAF studies. Basically, cinnabar is pretty but it can kill you through subtle mercury poisoning.

 

Neat. What part are you having trouble with?

 

The part where I need a B in the class to keep my funding, and this professor is a somewhat difficult grader. And my grade in there is a B- right now. :|

 

I rather disagree regarding the kid's punishment. Children don't understand death like adults do. They don't understand how serious a crime it is to take a life. It isn't a matter of education, it's a matter of brain development. That's not just kids today, that's kids from now all the way back to the stone age. You may disagree and say that you knew at that age, but it's rather impossible for us to literally put ourselves into the minds of our child selves. I can certainly say that I did not understand the seriousness of death at that age, because I remember the very day I came to that realization through introspective thought.

Absolutely punish the parents for their negligence, put the kid in a juvenile detention center. It'll give him that initial "You done fucked up kid" feeling for until he comes to his own realization, and unless he has some kind of mental disorder, It's incredibly unlikely he won't realize what he's done and come to regret it.

Premeditated or not doesn't change whether or not he really understood the gravity of his actions, only that he knew how to, and intended to take them.

Lets not forget that while it looks and is incredibly petty, children are incredibly petty. Children, if not properly monitored or stopped, are likely to take extreme actions against each other to get what they want. Children will beat each other up over incredibly simple verbal disputes, over toys, over a large snow ball, because they're petty by nature. Their brains were programmed by evolution to be selfish. Little things matter a whole lot more to kids, and can motivate them to take ridiculously extreme actions that to us are appalling, because we as adults know better. They don't. Trying this child as an adult is just playing into the role that prisons have become, in that they're thought of only as a place for punishment, instead of the rehabilitation centers they're supposed to be. Sending this kid to prison won't solve anything, it'll practically guarantee that when he gets out he won't know how the world works, and will likely commit further crimes.

 

That child doesnt need to be punished, he needs to be helped. And we dont need justice, we need to understand.

My mom is a fucking bitch.
She just talked shit about me to her friends...WHILE I WAS IN THE OTHER FUCKING ROOM.
Then proceeded to try coming into talk with me like we were cool. LOL.
I told her I was pissed off, and WHY, and she actually fucking threatened to punch me in the face. I hope her friend heard that one too.

Well, if she was a guest in your house, you could have asked her to leave until things cooled down, though for a parent to smack talk their child.... Thats low. And im not sure i could forgive it myself honestly. Hell im not her child and i cant really forgive it. You, fair lady, deserve to have a back massage. Make your bf give you a back massage lol.
