The "Good Mood" Thread

Feeling relatively good after having such a good night sleep.
Now just to get moving on stuff XD

 

Last week, S and I had a pretty in depth talk in which he said he really cares about me and thinks things are starting to get more serious between us. I can't begin to say how validating it was to hear that from him, and to know my feelings (which I had not told him about so as to not spook him) were returned by him. We are both cautious about things due to past hurts, so this is kind of major for us.

 

Good news finally! The oven has been fixed and we will be able to cook Christmas dinner!!

 

Alright Merry Christmas

 

Dinner was interesting, not the best but the best we could do for what we have (half of our stuff is still in boxes/hidden around the house and we're still trying to uncover it all)

 

My little sisters got me a new tie for Christmas, so I'm wearing it to work today.

GOT SO MUCH DONE TODAY!

• Cleaned my room
• Put away ALL my laundry
• Put away all my Christmas presents
• Uninstalled my VCR and Tube TV (though I still need to relocate the latter)
• Uninstalled my old Wii
  
• Hooked my satellite box up to my flat screen
• Installed my Wii U
• Cleaned off my desk and bedside table
• Hung a poster
• Put in a new lamp for my mom
  
• Installed my mom's new Blu-Ray player
• Helped take down the Christmas tree
• Went out to breakfast with friends
• INSTALLED MY BLINDS. AWESOME. I NOW KNOW WHAT TIME OF DAY IT IS WITHOUT EXPOSING MYSELF TO THE WORLD. AND MY ROOM IS SO MUCH BRIGHTER NOW

Got a couple of applications done and sent out an important email, so I'd say I got a good bit done. ^.=.^

 

So a lady came up to the front desk and started yelling at me about how we put a hold on her credit card. She said we better PRAY that she doesn't call her sister at Channel 6 to do an investigative report, and questioned if the owner actually paid taxes when he bought the hotel, or if he "bounced it around between his brothers like THEY always do" which I think was implied racism.

After she stormed out, I looked at her file, and it turns out we don't even have her card on file, because she paid through Expedia.

Maybe it's some twisted sado-masochism, but this put me in the most exuberant hateful mood.

I'm gonna be a good little desk jockey, and wait for the manager to come in to decide whether he wants to call her, or if he wants me to. God, I almost want her to call Channel 6, and then I can explain the situation to THEM when THEY come in, so that this lady looks stupid to her sister, and she will lose all credibility, having wasted the time and money of her sister's network.

I have the biggest evil grin right now, because I'm basking in the anticipation of this lady finding out she's an asshole.

 

UPDATE!

The manager picked my favorite choice! "Let her call the news and make an ass of herself!"

 

I'm incredibly pleased that I got to have the raccoon icon on the family Netflix account.

 

Just booked my flight to Anthrocon! Anyone else going? :3

 

S. has been an absolute doll the last couple days. He was happy to help me move back into my dorm, and has been giving me the sweetest random embraces. We were in the elevator and before I realized it he had his arm around me and pulled me in to kiss me on the forehead haha. Fuckin' cutie.

 

Got so much done today

• Put new bulbs in the ceiling fan
• Cleaned my entire room
• Fixed the vacuum cleaner
• Vacuumed my room
• Reorganized my desk
• Did all my laundry
• Made my bed
• Did some serious cable management
• Organized all my papers
• Partially disassembled my computer and cleaned every bit of it I could, especially the air filters
• Got my list of owed art, and my stack of incomplete art all organized

 

Doing pretty well today.
I've been feeling pretty good about myself lately and I have been feeling good about myself as well.
Granted I need just a little more motivation to do things that I really want like working out more, but otherwise I'm actually a very happy dragon! ^.=.^

Whoops, wasn't paying attention to what I was typing at that moment. >.<

 

Last night, I finally got up the courage to tell S that I'm falling in love with him.
He said he's falling in love with me, too.

Today is good. :3
