The options were either a frontal assault through a minefield, turrets, synths, and apparently a Super Mutant Behemoth. Or the longer, less dangerous route through the tunnel. As I was going over the options, there was a perfectly timed explosion that basically convinced me the tunnel was the safer option.

Well, ran into my first... bug? Glitch? Whatever you want to call it. In Fallout 4. Whenever I get a settlement quest for Sanctuary Hills, the quest marker either sends me off to a random location, or to Sanctuary Hills, but all I find is a decapitated, naked settler...

Can't really help out with those raiders if the quest giver is dead.

Alright, so I just played through the tutorial AND my first normal game in Armello.

This game is basically a board game. It involves characters moving around a tiled board, with various tiles like forest, mountain, plains, etc.

You are fighting against a corrupt king, and trying to beat the other players to become the ruler.

There are four ways to win. You can either defeat the king, become more corrupt than the king, be the most influential when the king dies of corruption, or cure the king. Each play style has it's pros and cons, and the game feels pretty well-balanced.

You have basic stats that determine what kind of actions you can take during turns, like using cards, fighting enemies, etc. The battle system is dice-based, so every encounter has a chance to go really well or really bad, but there are ways to make sure you get closer to your desired outcome too, so it's not completely up to chance.

Over all, it's pretty fun, and a really good time killer. This has strong overtones of a mobile game, and is simple enough it could probably work on a phone. Definitely worth the price, especially right now during the steam sale!

ETA: Oh, right. One last thing:

THIS GAME IS FURRY AS FRICK

I am just to level up my character. Hopefully they've recognized this problem and put out a fix soon.

Fallout players, which faction did you choose for the end of the main quest line?

I'm stuck between the Brotherhood of Steel and the Institute.

I went for the second one. I made a huge post about it in the Fallout thread but it's full of spoilers.

The real question you have to ask yourself is do you hate synths or do you just think of them as objects.

I'm 99.9% with the second option as well. I'm leaving that 0.1% open if I hear a good enough argument in the game.

I'm probably going to catch a lot of flak for this, but I do see the synths as objects and not people. I don't hate them like the Brotherhood does, or fear them like people of the Commonwealth. But I think that in return for us giving them life and maintaining them if something goes wrong, they in turn should work and protect us.

Then you definitely want to side with the second one. A certain mysterious person that you'll presumably have met at this point will work hard to convince you of what you and I already seem to believe. I didn't start out on that side of things but made my way there in time.

The next question you have to ask yourself is, what kind of wasteland do you want for the future? One dominated by your second option, with an idealist vision and a ruthless and aggressive means of bringing it about? Or one ruled by your first option, one kept under the wings of a strong power new to the region but unconcerned with the day-to-day lives of the people they're ostensibly trying to help.

    Doing an experiment in Fallout.

I just armed one of my settlements with Fat Man launchers. 15 mini nukes, aimed at the next deathclaw or raider group to attack them.

EDIT: Made it worse and installed the MIRV upgrade.

Trolling players in csgo with the new revolver update is certainly fun.

I'm sure @vahaala agrees with me on that. ;D

Dark Souls 3 and XCOM 2. 2016 is gonna be great for gaming :D.

1hr preview of XCOM was released yesterday. It's more of the same, but enhanced in various ways. Perfect!

Not at all interesting if you aren't a fan. Half the time is spent fiddling with the base mechanics and customization. Really excited to play it, though.
