What Is On Your Mind?

Well I got trained for every shift. I kinda doomed myself there.

 

"Hey, does anyone know how to get a hold of a guy I met in Denver? He was wearing clothes and looked in his 20s or 30s, thanks!"

I didn't think to jot down what he said his username was, because I sort of assumed I'd have a message from him waiting for me when I got access to a proper computer and internet again, and thus forgot.

To be fair, I prefer interaction in those places. People KNOW, I KNOW, that the chances you'll ever see someone you talk to on there again are so small you might as well pretend they don't exist, but that's the problem in my opinion! We think that because it's the only contact between us and that person in our entire lives, we should wall them off and give "EXCUSE me?" looks to anyone who even so much as says hello.

Conversely, I tend to find myself more isolated at gatherings like clubs (never been to a non-club bar, or a concert), but that's less me trying to shut people out and more me wanting to enjoy my time but not knowing what to say to anyone.

After graduation, right now getting out of college with a degree is my main goal

Not knowing what to say to people is the story of my life.
I see what you mean and walling people off because of that reason just seems weird to me. Knowing that I will never meet a person again tends to help me be more talkative.
Also, you've never been to a concert?! They're the greatest thing ever. Well, at least if you're a music fan and the band/artist you really like is on the stage.

 

Depends. While I enjoy some kinds of metal, a LOT of metal is "screamer", which I hate, so those are generally out of the question. I'd like to catch Zedd, Deadmau5, or Daft Punk though (the latter two of whom recently showed up as surprise guests at the former's last show FFS ;-; )

 

I never really know what to say to people I know. It's worse with people I don't know.

 

Finding metal without any screaming/growling could be hard. At least for me because I never look for that kind heh.
