I think I may be developing actual romantic feelings for someone.

It hurts.

So this is my opinion:

My stepsister is currently dating (engaged, but really...) a 34 year old man who has 3 kids, 2 of which aren't living with him. He reminds me of a bigger Mexican, but he may or may not be, dunno.

My stepdad and mom are aware she is with him, and I guess they live together too. My stepdad says the guy has a degree, but can't get a better paying job due to the tattoos on his neck.

This is what I think of the guy: One, you are too old for my 20 year old sister. Two, you didn't make good choices are far as the placement of your tattoos, otherwise you'd have a better job and might have also had custody of the other two kids. Three, if my stepdad thinks of you as a thug, you and my sister won't last very long not just because of him, but because I know my sister, and she hardly dates a guy for over a year, usually less than a year.

For me personally, the oldest I am comfortable dating is 25, given I am 21, 30 years is pushing it. Nor would I EVER consider dating a guy with children; if I am not ready for my own kids, I am DEFINATLY not ready for another's kids. And not all guys who have kids will be nice. Some might be douchebags, you never know.

 

Nope, not my first. That was last year. Had fun. ^^

 

You should meet my dad. He's got a damn degree in excusing himself from his responsibilities and past mistakes by saying it was "God's will".

 

Just got back home from the court house, getting our marriage license and other required paper work.

Yeah, I think he's right. Him, not so much, now faced with the reality. He is really just nervous is all.

made these today to be part of a sculpture. carved them out of some brass recycled from a busted water pressure regulator valve. mostly dremel work and needle files. preloaded the back with solder and a few little beads around the edges are visible. it'll make it easier to attach it flat later to the final piece. the sun ended up looking more like a lotus


also thinking of buying a large EE orca in their black friday sale this year. those 16 inches tho...

 

*turns around and instead dashes off to Canada or UK or any other country with at least a little bit better standard of living*
I'm not saying living here is bad, but there are places where it's better.
