As much as I enjoy this art class I'm taking over the summer, I'm already eager for it to be over with so I can enjoy the month and a half of break I'll have left. We only have next week and the week after and we're done.

Today has been the third time I've gotten a contact high from a customer's car. Then an hour later I get a car to handle that smells like a combination of female arousal and pineapples.

Interesting week so far. Can't wait for inspections from corporate tomorrow and Wednesday.

seems like they'd be pretty easy to do with cast bronze and then polish them, unfortunately I don't have the supplies. centrifugal casters and vacuum casters are pretty damn expensive. my advice would be to post on the jewelry making, metalworking, or metal casting subreddits since someone there will likely have the expertise and the equipment to get it done

That's alright, I just discovered a drawer full off sclupey I haven't used up yet. all I gotta do is mold, bake, and spray down with some metallic krylon!

 

if it's a cosplay thing, sculpy works fine, if it's a jewelry piece for occasional wear, they could be made pretty light and could even be plated. if it's big ass ring for beating someone's shit in (which it's what those look like BTW, bronze is nice heavy stuff. you may even be able to get them printed in metal by shapeways, but they would be pricey and have print texture on them from the sintering process

on another note, I finally found a good tig welder that'll work for most of the stuff I would need it for, and it's under $1000 to boot
also I need more friends who can equally nerd out about tools and tech with me

 

ugh fucking tumblr and its shitty broken ass site.
I wiped my browser yesterday and now I can't log in. It keeps giving me bullshit about how my email address isn't registered to the site and I'm like............. no? The app on my phone still lets me post and in Settings CLEARLY displays the email I use for the site. Contacting tumblr support ain't going too well either

I've been stretching my ears lately and I've been having fun with it to be honest. I thought it was really, really scary like the extreme body modification shows that they put on the TV but actually, you can control how big you want the holes to be. I had a chat with a friend of mine who is a pericer because I wanted to be sure that I was being safe and stuff and we shared the same views of 'if you go too big for your ear, it looks really, really bad', I had a super nice conversation with them.

Right now, I'm at 3.2mm (8g) but I want them to go to 8mm (0g) cause that size suits me really well. Then I can get really cool plugs of indie, alternative style since that's mostly my fashion sense.

 

I dislike My allergies.
