I certainly enjoy that I've been able to talk to newer bd forums members more easily here.

I am a bit concerned that there are so many people having trouble registering.

 

I am so hungry right now. It's going on a quarter to 8 am and for some reason I've been awake since 6:30, not that I know why. But now I'm just super hungry.

 

Reading everything that was posted here. Wow, 18 pages guys.

 

Lol yeah and meanwhile the only thread really moving at BD is the announcement of closing the forums.*

The activity here almost makes it feel like BD before the lady drama.

 

That's one of the reasons I stopped being active on the BD forums, I have been kind of off and on over the past year or so. Because there were so many threads to keep up with and they went by so fast it was too difficult to keep up. And when I didn't keep up, I was unmotivated to join in the conversations. That's what I like about his forum right now, there's not much to follow and it's still a bit of a smaller community.

 

I haven't seen it moving fast on BD in years. I used to read 6 or 7 pages before I could reply. If I slept a full night, it was 9 pages or more. I liked that. You could just post and everyone would be like "hey good morning nice to see you again" and then you would read some of the last posts, some of the drama and then you would just join in. In the past few years I stopped doing that because the topics just didn't catch my interest.

 

Well, as someone who generally only pops on once a day for a quick checkup (except this week is vacation), all the new pages on all the threads I was following became cumbersome. And I'm not big on drama, which it seems like has started to dominate those forums, more interested in informative or engaging chat.

 

Ah, I got online daily, all day. Didn't have a life back then.

 

Maybe it's the fresh new start, but I do get the impression that there is more activity and enthusiasm now. Probably because it's the more active members who are moving here to stay in touch with the community.

I want to clean off my BD toys (I always have 3 to 6 toys in the shower at any given time) and make a collection picture. It's been ages since I did, and my collection is a bit smaller than it used to be. In the past few months I've culled my collection and sold/given away whatever just didn't get much use. I still have some stuff like that.

Oh yeah, had to go find the alternate hang outs of all my friends.
I think I found almost everyone now.

 

I want to buy some more toys for my collection, i don't have too many BD toys. The tailstretcher hardly gets used anymore.

 

Starting my first day working at the fair!

Just parking cars, but I've never done this before, so I'm actually incredibly nervous cos I don't know what to expect.
Today is supposed to be the craziest day too, go figure. Cos admission is only $2 just for today.

As per news you say? More drama and BS going wrong with the Russians. Now a bunch of Russian thieves have stolen 1.2 billion passwords from over 420,000 websites. The fire in Cali is making it hard for SETI to look for aliens. So far for 2014, 16 children have died because ignorant parents have left them in the car or because they got into the car but couldn't get out. Also Rosetta has become the first spacecraft to orbit a comet!
