Hello all.
Sorry I haven't been around much. I've been literally AFK for about 2 weeks now? Been checking the forums on my phone a bit but it's more difficult to moderate that way lol.

How's everyone?

 

I'm doing alright. Tired from yesterday though. Went to a club and danced for the first time in years probably. It was a nice evening although I prefer a quieter place where you can talk in your normal voice instead of shouting everything you say.

I haven't ever been clubbing for real, but I think I might be to old for it now lol. I don't really have the kind of friends who go clubbing (also they're all guys and they're all older than me).

I started my job. I'm 2 weeks in now. I haven't technically made any money but I know I will. There's a fairly high turn-over rate in the first few months of working there so some people are treating me like I might not be there a year or a few months from now, but I don't have any intentions of going anywhere. I'm the youngest there by a fairly large margin (there are technically people who are contracted there that are younger but they don't really work there anymore). My team leader is 27 and one of the newer guys is also 27, and the other main guy on the team is in his early 30s. And I'm 23 so I'm a bit of a baby lol. But Kranix is 26 (27 in October) and I'm friends with two of his friends (same age) so really I'm used to being the youngest. The other newer guy and me are really getting along though. I'm starting to feel like I actually have my own friend down here. He also doesn't treat me like I'm just going to leave, and neither does my district leader. Other than that I've been pretty boring. Mostly playing Diablo 3 on XB1 and sleeping. lol. Oh and my rat died and I have a sunburn but other than that all pretty normal.

I am now regretting not going to the PRIDE parade last night, watching the news, they said there were a record number of floats. Looked like everyone was having a great time down there.

I think I might attempt drawing ...something today. It even might be a first try on getting my fursona some more "visual" side. Though I also need some patience for this - I don't want to "rush" a whole pic, but I kinda can't draw the other way.

 

I'm turning 23 in four days so then I'll also be too old. But nah, you're never too old, it's all about your own preferences really.

Words like high turn-over rates are scary. Hopefully you'll get to stay for a long while then.

So I'm setting up a consultation with a tattoo artist down in Madison. My dad is a stickler when I told him I had enough money for a 2 hour session. It's like, I've been wanting a tattoo for a little over a year now, and I now am able and have enough to actually do it. So yeah, I'm going through with this.

 

Yes! I got Tuesday and Wednesday off for Destiny. I didn't even ask for it off.

I kinda always wanted a tattoo, most likely an Orca because I love them immensly and I know I'd never regret it. They've been my spirit animals ever since I was a little kid. <3
However, I just can't get over the permanent-ness of the whole thing. It gives me anxiety. :c I don't even have my ears pierced because of it, and that's not even permanent!

 

My dad says the family crest he has is in a Stephen King book so I ordered said book to bring with me when I go xD

Like, my mom bashes him about it (they're separated, so they hate each other), but think of it this way; Stephen King is one of the best authors ever, so really, it's cool in a way and she has no leverage against it. She'll probably hate me when I get it though xD

 

Studying Calc II today, tomorrow, and Monday for our first test on Tuesday. Ugh. It's been a year between Calc I and II for me, so I also have to do some Calc I review. I just have to try my best to pass this class...

 

Trying to work on a ref sheet commission, but my sister's dog won't stop snoring and it's bugging the crap out of me x.X

:c League is not a time sink. So what if I can spend 12 hours a day playing it? >____>

 

I think I might get my ass up early tomorrow to watch Guardians of the Galaxy in 3D. As a treat to myself. (Hopefully, my plans won't crumble away like they normally do and that my idea won't backfire!)
