What Is On Your Mind?

I wish I could have really in depth and epic dreams. Currently all my dreams are like a poorly written episode of Robot Chicken.

 

But he doesn't need to lose weight though. You're his BF set him straight lol.

 

No me on the other hand, do need to lose weight, but I like food too much to care

 

I to need to lose weight as I have love handles that are to big to handle so to speak.

but sometimes dieting isn't just about losing weight.
People often forget that excess body fat isn't the only facet of bad health.
Unhealthy foods can affect your hair, skin, eyes, hormones and even your mood.
Everyone can benefit from a more healthy eating lifestyle

 

but french fries and pancakes are just so delicious!

 

Let this be a lesson, this is why you don't put sodas in the freezer to get them cold faster.

too correct, but even those can be made healthier
potatoes are fairly cheap, cut em yourself and fry them in a pan of healthy oil (peanut, coconut, or canola )
For pancakes, just make the dry mix yourself (you can even put in a sealed jar for later) use 100% maple syrup or honey

It sounds like work by first world standards, but considering a handful of generations ago people had to tramp through the woods just to find a scrap to eat, this mess ain't nothing

 

Nothing beats homemade Maple syrup and/or non-processed honey

 

kind of almost looks like it flash froze. I know it's possible to carefully put a beer in the freezer so that it gets to 32*F or 0*C and then when you open it and tap it it immediately freezes since the escaping CO2 bubbles act as nucleation points for ice crystals to start growing off of (don't believe me, look it up)

 

@Steel did you not know that cola or an fizzy drinks explode in a freezer.
To cool a fizzy drink put it in the freezer for 30-45 mins and it should be perfect.

 

LOL! And as a word of advise.. Don't put them in the microwave either.. How do I know? *Cough* Something, something, drunken adventures of wanting to know how warm beer tastes.. *Cough* (I'm still grateful I only ruined the microwave..)

 

Indeed, well said. My bf and I are still eating well. In fact, we are eating a diet free of processed foods and snacks. We are cooking all our meals form scratch, and getting a good balance of fruit/veggies, fibre, protein and carbs. I am so pleased to be executing a proper eating regimen.

Exeter even surprised me today by 'letting his hair down' and taking me for ice cream. I am so glad to see him eating well. There is no greater joy for a cook than feeding the man that he loves. One day, that will include @CreativeNameHere as well - I have to keep my co-boyfriend well fed also.

I do my best. With a great guy like Exeter, it is easy to be sweet.

 

I wish I had more than just starchy foods to make.
I had to be sure to clean out the fridge and freezer, because I will soon be without power.
Going to make cooking difficult at best.

 

Why no power?

 

Because I only had 20 hours of work in the last month, and can't pay for it. Including my cell phone service, and internet.
Running out of food that doesn't need to be cooked, too.

 

Suddenly very tired and rather depressed... *sigh*
