I just realized.....though I have been home every day to take care of my dog and handle my usual business around the house, I have not slept in my bed for the last four days. Sleeping instead in my boyfriends bed and eating at his house. I do feel sorry for leaving my poor dog at home, but I am having such a wonderful time with my guy, and time is going by so quickly.

 

Strongly considering joining the National Guard.

 

back home. nothing like 3 nights in a cramped just too hot hotel room with heavy snorers and a 5 hour car ride home to make you appreciate being able to lock yourself in your nice cold room for a while and not have to deal with people's bullshit. now to start the waiting timer for my EE wuffamute to be shipped...

 

I don't have to go to work tomorrow... this is such a fucking long weekend.

 

Since I'm living with my parents until our plumbing is fixed, my strong roomie brought over my tote of toys. Literally 100lbs+. I had a blanket over it just to shield from wandering eyes.

My parents came back from their week long vacation. My dad asked "what's this" and just lifted it up and was like wtfffff. I lol'd and said "dragon cocks" then he proceeded to lug it to my bedroom lololololol

Out of all the shit my parents put me through, at LEAST they accept my sexuality xD

 

Not sure how my folk's reaction would be if they found my Dragoness or Sheath. I doubt they'd care.

Can the weekend be over?

God, my partner is being such a... a... Sigh. I have ADHD and I hate crowds, but she loves Thanksgiving and she loves Black Friday and she loves community theatre. So Thursday we cook up a lot of stuff and we have friends over and that's nice.

Friday, she goes out shopping and, because she's taking the bus, she calls me in the early afternoon and says, "Can you come and bring your car? I need a place to put all this stuff I bought!" So I go to the mall and she puts the stuff in the car, and she says, "Can you come in for a minute? I want to try on an outfit, and I want your opinion."

So I walk with her into the mall, and we go to this store, and she tries on the outfit, and I tell her I like it. "Here," she says, handing me the bag. "Carry this. I just have one more thing to get." And we go out to another store, and a third, before we finally get home. And I spent the entire time feeling drained and exhausted-- I'd already spent the morning cleaning up the dishes from the previous nights' feast-- and am trying really hard not to let the crowds and my ADHD lead to a complete freak-out.

Saturday, we go to the community theater for rehearsals, because we're extras in a crowd scene for the Christmas show, and I don't have to act, I just have to stand there and look interested. I cooked breakfast for her, and then we go and do the rehearsals for two hours, and then we get home. And when I get home I see an email from an old friend saying, "Hey, are you free tomorrow?"

So I asked my partner, "Do we have any plans for tomorrow?" She says we don't have any. So I said, "Great, can I go hang out with my buddy tomorrow." And she says to me, get this, "No. We haven't done anything together in a long time."

What. The. Fuck.

Christ, we went to the symphony last week, followed by Hibachi dinner, and this week we've done nothing but spend time together. I know it's the holiday season but, good grief, I'd like some time where I wasn't dedicating it all to family, god, and country.

 

Well my family life right now is taking a massive hit cuz my stepmo. Is just being stupid and doesn't care about anything plus wanted to go home but she's drunk. We all tried to keep her fro. It and taking my little sister but she ended up leaving anyway. Hopefully without my sister.

I will probably need to see the counselor.

Sigh. Part of the problem, for my partner at least, is that her epilepsy means she can't go out on a regular basis. She can't drive, she has to plan around any high-risk situations, she can't go into downtown at night (the blinking lights on a bicycle will give her a seizure), she can't go dancing, and yet she's a highly social person. On the other hand, I can drive and have a car, so I can go wherever I want, it's just very rare that I want to go anywhere.
