nope. no thank you. I can find the error codes in my own system and google how to fix them faster than you can explain how to open the event viewer or finish your introduction spiel. I realize this is someone's job that they make their living off of but it's about as helpful as asking my old ass parents that don't even understand basic computer stuff for help. even better is the most prominent errors that occur are ones that have been found to be directly tied to bugs in windows 8/8.1 so unless I can talk to a supervisor that actually has any sort of ties to microsoft and get actual understandable solutions I'm not putting myself through call center bullshit.

Does anyone else go into a "stand by" mode if you have nothing to do? All day today I've just been very... bleh, because there was nothing for me to think about or do. Besides that dragoness thing I posted in another thread, but that wasn't a very serious thought.

You're definitely not the only one. I go into screensaver mode so badly when alone that I have to write down things I want to do as a list in my cell phone's notepad to remind myself to get anything done.

 

If I was offered the ability to just shut off my consciousness until I was asked to do something or figured something out to do, I think I'd take that ability.

I really hate just sitting there with nothing to do or think about.
