I think adult subforums are made like that already. Besides, you can already be found if you ever posted any private stuff anywhere, like Facebook.

 

I mean for instance the Member Map: I use this same name for lots of uses, and it wouldn't be hard to put the pieces together and say, I bet that's the same guy. Especially if had pictures of my face, that would be a confirmation. Or like the biography thread, people that know me would pickup on it pretty quick even if i left some info out.

But, if the pictures are restricted to members than that's nice, as well as the adult section.

On the other hand, I am a chronic worrier and suffer from anxiety.

I believe anything of importance when it comes to privacy is not viewable by non-members at this point. However, I also use a completely different online alias for nsfw sites like this. You may want to consider distancing your username that people irl know about and your username that you use on forums such as this one if it causes you anxiety.
I know I would definitely not want anyone I know irl to find me here, so I am more than willing to take the extra precautions.

 

Heh. I used to think like that, but then a little devil in my head said "Hey, what the hell can happen?". And I've posted pics of mine bios etc, worst thing that happened was nobody liking them xP

 

I keep two separate online identities (1) human, sfw, known by my rl associates identitiy (2) Misskin, my furry fandom stuff, nsfw, art alias.

Although its a bit of a puzzle deciding which name to post my artwork featuring humans lol

I'm not as concerned as I was before with someone finding out who I am. But yeah, I use a completely separate alias for all furry/nsfw stuff.

I suppose the only cognative link would be my steam and xbox live account.

 

I also keep mine seperate.

GuyStripes is usually the name I use for anything NSFW.

 

In reality though, how many gamers on xbox live have a variation of something like xBIGxBADxWOLFx or xxBIG-BAD-WOLFxx, etc?
It's not super unique. I mean, Little Red Riding Hood has been around how long? Someone would have to be really clever to figure it out if they knew all the places to look for you online/

 

The instance of being one of those is very slim. However the statistics change when you add in additional bits of info, and thats where i try to balance things.

The xbox can change though, and not really pertinent any more as i never use it. My steam account has one relative as a friend. I suppose that would be the only issue. Unfriend! Out of sight, out of mind.
