It's been a while since I was as tired as I am right now. Tonights forecast. Nothing.

So my toy has already been delivered.Damn

Just sitting on the back porch, enjoying a little sun before I have to go to sleep for my late shift tonight. The smell of orange blossoms perfuming the air, from the two orange trees in the back yard. I swear, one of them is going to be hung so heavily with fruit, it will look like orange grapes!

The bees are going nuts over the blossoms!


Life is good

 

Our hotel is literally full of cowboys.

No, but I think our guests are.

 

Once i get off work.

 

Family went out for dinner. Didn't want to turn down food I wasn't paying for so I went along.

They are irritating, incredibly rude people. And drunk, so even worse. I drove home because hopping on 55, averaging 75mph and getting home in 8 minutes was better than the side roads and extra half hour of dealing with this nonsense.
Back to work for me.

 

I know that feeling

family: "we're in a hurry and need to get somewhere"
me: "then why are taking the longest route possible?"
family: "shutup! I'm driving! this is the route I always take!"
*get there late*
family: "damnit, why are we late!"
me: "... (AKA I know why but I'm gonna keep my mouth shut since you'll just complain about it)"

 

I actually take longer routes often to purposefully go through lights, because they're less of a headache. However, I do leave earlier to compensate.

 

Work always seems to feel longer than it actually is...god damn am I exhausted...

So very confused...

 

Less of a headache than exiting onto the highway and merging and hoping to get over two more lanes before getting to where you're going.

Basically, the lights tell you when to go, so you don't have to worry about it.
