Oh dear...
so, one time, when I was a pallet jack n00b... I tipped over a pallet of 1 gallon paint cans. They were boxed, but at least of them opened up and spilled *everywhere*.

I spent most of my graveyard shift today, cleaning up the parking lot, in the wind. Kind of a task in futility if you ask me, but they had to have it done.......so damn tired now. Time for bed soon.

 

At the warehouse where I used to work, we used to have to clean up when orders were late or there was nothing else to do. We ended up garbage picking in the carpark and surrounding undergrowth quite a bit. Not what we signed on for, and certainly not fun.

Still, was better than having to sweep the warehouse floor, because I swear it was about 50% concrete and 50% dust. All of us (except the managers, obviously) were coughing up black dust for days after. x.x

 

I remember when I worked in insurance restoration, and we were REALLY slow, my boss asked me to sweep and mop the warehouse floor. Not the most fun, but it needed to be done, and It was work... After completing the task about 6 hours later, he proceeded to say "Ok, now do it again".

 

oops, I meant "at least 8 of them."
Yeah, sometimes in this line of work, you're given tasks that are... stupid as shit.

 

That's terrible...I hate antifreeze and brake cleaner is bad too, dries out your hands like nothing else.

 

seems the university is actually going to take disciplinary action against that group for breaking the student code of cunduct and just being general coercive assholes. frankly, I'm actually surprised.

 

Yay! A victory for data integrity is a victory for all!

 

Where I work, the laser tag used to be a haunted hotel house thing. It was always the music that creeped me out but never got startled by another worker. However at the old laser are an I'd be vaccuuminh and my boss was so quite and sneak up on me. Turn around to find him just there. Always made me jump.

 

I seriously need to get some nice neko ears and a tail to walk around in every day.

 

and a victory for not letting someone BS their way into controlling everyone else on campus. the data from that survey was supposed to be used to guide how future programs would be implemented to try to curb "bad student behavior".

 

lol, 3 of my flatmates are currently waging a prank war on each other, so there's just random traps everywhere. One guy has a balloon with a pin next to it rigged to his room door, and another has a string net fixed to the outside of his room's doorframe.

 

Oh, lovely.

 

Today has been pretty shitty. -_-

 

At least the absorbent that they have us use, is very effective. The hard part was cleaning all the shelves, and of course the one that leaked, was near the top. Had to dismantle the strip that holds the pricing information as well, to keep it from dripping.

On the bright side, I was given compliments for the great job I did, even though it took me over 5 hours to do.
Too bad they want it done every night now.....grrrr

Been contemplating on throwing up a stream while playing League... Only this time having my webcam and/or mic on. However kinda nervous because A. No one will show up to talk B. I ain't as hot as all the girls on Twitch and I don't want none trolls. WHY MUST I CONFLICT WITH MYSELF
