There are some companies here that make you pay for training.

 

My uniform shirts are $14 each. I get a new one 6 months to a year.

Second day of week as a manager, and only my co-workers are happy for me, it's a start. The other 10 people in the house i live in have yet to congratulate me instead of offering words of how I've inconvenienced them. I still feel okay i think. Just sore.

I kinda wish Dragon Hoard had horizontal rules, or some kind of topic break, since it's become a thing around here that it's rude to post twice in a row. Life has been, well, I cleaned out my bank account yesterday and am officially broke. On the other hand, I have now officially closed my fiduciary responsibilities to my ex, and come sometime in June I'll be able to talk to my own daughter without worrying that Der Baroness will use my words against me and try to extort more money out of me.

Work has asked me to make a presentation to my team on new tools that we can use to assure code quality. I'm nervous. I hate, hate, hate talking to people like that. Terrifies me.

 

Thanks ^_^. I think the soreness is something I'll get used to over time. The manager I'm replacing must not have had the concept of rotating stock in her mind, it's just a bit of a mess to fix is all. Videogames will fix my frustrations lol
