I just determined that I had things I needed to do, and if I needed other people to do it with, I was going to meet them. I started going to meet-ups, both professional and kinky. I think I went to the very first munch (a BDSM-oriented get-together in a vanilla setting, in deliberately low-key outfits, to encourage socialization and to be unintimidating to newbies) ever held in Seattle. It was at a Greek restaurant in the University district. It was 1994. I went to one of the first Web-Design oriented meetups, back in 1997; that was definitely weird, because I was invited to give a presentation on Javascript and it was so over the heads of people who barely knew what a paragraph tag looked like.

 

So much this. Every time my mom has a problem trying to do something on the internet, it's because she's using internet explorer. I don't get what's so attractive about IE. I even went and got rid of it on her computer and left chrome as the only browser available, she friggen downloads it again, then complains when it's not working. adzfsxzdfxhgxfxvhn!

 

The reason IE is so popular among the old people is because it's the only one with Internet in the name, so they remember "Oh, that's the internet!"

made some of my secret berry syrup since I had berries and plan to make pancakes tomorrow. it smells so fucking good. this is one recipe I'll take to my grave with me

all I'll say is it has something to do with raspberries, blackberries, lemon and ginger

 

does the acidity of the lemon make the syrup runny??

 

no, you just have to boil it longer to make up for extra liquid from the fruit

here lately I've been considering having my jaw rebroken and set properly.

Try and fix my slack jaw. Whenever I'd have it broken as a kid you know, obviously I'd never go to a doctor so each time it would heal back a little more tucked up. Then my adult teeth grew in a all crazy and it just hurts a lot and locks up all the time.

Yeah but I don't know much about it, I'd probably make it worse

 

! so fixing it is worse than not fixing it because the fix might flub but not fixing it is bad too........... @_@ I would ask a doctor, I am the last person you want medical advice from lol
