That feeling when you're trying to have a conversation with somebody you like but they're literally unable to understand phrases or follow your reasoning so rather than make them feel stupid for being bewilderingly slow on the intake you spend vast amounts of energy building an interesting conversation out of their dumb mistakes and ignorance.

Why are so many hot people so dumb....

That's how I am Jazzi, except I make way less because the state that I live in sucks major balls.
Since I covered someone's morning shift today I will once again work 6 days in a row...I will be lucky if I don't kill myself by the end of this...

@Exeter some people just aren't as quick at understanding certain things. Especially if it's not a situation they have ever faced before.

Curse this hot weather, and Mo's overly hot body temperature. Too bad our room is the warmest in the house, as it has the last vent in line with the A/C.
What a way to wreck the 'mood'. Another two months of this....................grrrrr

 

Which is perfectly fine.

 

Partner's entire family is out of the house for a family reunion. So we had a bonfire, drinks, skinny dipped in the pool. I dunno, I wasn't monitoring exactly how much he was drinking but realized he was pretty hammered, and after throwing up what could only be the entire contents of his stomach, he's passed out on his side on his bed. I wanted to keep him downstairs by the bathroom but he wants to be up here so whatever.

He was supposed to be my ride, so uh, guess I'm here overnight. With run of his parent's house. Hm.

Think he'll be okay if I leave him be for a little bit. Going to try to find a phone charger. He's got iThings and I don't so the stupid lightning charger doesn't cut it for me.

eta: found a charger, although I'm not sure if I should have unplugged the Chrome device it was attached to. Don't care so much.
I assume he'll be up in a couple hours, but still pretty messed up. I've got water and Ibuprofen waiting for him.

Guess it's time to catch up on secondhand sale messages elsewhere. Might as well since I've stolen his damn laptop. [insert shrug]

 

Sounds like it started fun, it's a shame that alcohol can turn that around the other way, so quickly. I can't stand it when Mo gets to the point of one too many. He can be fun and horny one minute, but unable to see it through if he takes it too far.
I need to monitor him more closely in the future.

 

Yup. A little buzz is definitely a fun time, but I easily grow annoyed with drunks.
And same with the monitoring.

This dude has got his firewalls turned off and does not update his software, I want to cry.

 

It's just hard to have a conversation when you say something anybody his age should understand and he gets confused and I can't figure out how. Like I can't figure out what part was confusing because I was speaking as plainly as possible.

 

Urgh.

He woke up and heaved into the garbage can for a solid two minutes. I've given him medicine, ice/water, and he's sleeping on his side again. Told him if he turned onto his back I was gonna flip him.
He's not going to be okay for work tomorrow, and since I won't sleep I'm not gonna be either.
